First visit to Carleton Chinese fish and chip shop. Ordered 2 x medium chips 2 x small cod. Very nice impressed. Tasty. Will be back again. Even better a bag full of scraps with salt and vinegar, crunchy.

Worst food ever it tasted horribly and they put too much salt on the chips

The Chinese food is great. Freshly prepared, delicious and reasonably priced. The chippy side of the business is also just as good. Clean facilities and friendly staff.

If you like chaos come here on a Saturday night , absolutely no organisation and people not knowing where to stand after ordering, Johnny rotten would be proud of this place chaos at it’s finest

Ordered today after it's now become a fish shop and Chinese. The Chinese was excellent! The blackbean beef had loads of flavour and the meat was good quality. 10/10 will be recommending it. Plus price is good aswell.

Went at a quiet lunchtime for takeaway, very clean looking place.Large haddock, large chips, large sausage and large curry sauce was plenty of food for 2 people for £12. Banged a slice of bread and butter each with it when got home, very tasty.Only criticism is that they are modest with the salt and vinegar, but easily rectified at home.

When we found out it was the same owner as Great Eccleston Chippy we made a special trip , we were not disappointed, the shop was spotless , the waitress was very chatty and attentive. The fish was too big for the plate , it was beautiful. Will def go again .
