Espanol in Wyre

Ordered a paella for 3 pre booked..it was too much so the "family member" Moises, asked would we like to take it home as there was more than half left, we agreed. As we went to pay to find out the paella was binned as they said miss communication. We had the conversation in Spanish and he clearly spoke Spanish so I don't understand where the miss communication came from. The paella was literally left at the table and not served or even asked if we wanted clean plates or even cutlery after our starters. The service was very poor for that kind of place. Maybe they need more experienced people. I'm not one to complain but I definitely won't be returning. We was looking forward to Spanish food and the evening out and that spoilt it.

First time visit. Absolutely lovely food and friendly, helpful staff. Highly recommend!!!!

Found this absolute gem last night .. went with the other half for a spontaneous date night .. couldn't have picked a better place .. we ordered 7 dishes from the tapas menus and we were not disappointed. All dishes were served piping hot and tasted amazing.We had the stuffed peppers, battered chicken, a chorizo, potato and egg dish and black pudding with feta cheese just to name a few of the dishes .. now I'm not a fan of black pudding it was the other half that ordered them but I tried it and it was one of my favourite dishes of the night.Staff were friendly, helpful and gave good recommendations.We will definitely be going back there soon I hope

Had a lovely paella. The waiter was just right there when you want a drink but not at you're table all night . Will definitely go again. Felt like I was on holiday

We had a wonderful meal this evening, all the food was great. The ox cheek was Devine and the steaks were like butter in your mouth. 5⭐

Group of 4 of us had pre booked for 5.30 pm last Saturday. We arrived on time and were attended to by 2 young members of staff who were rushed off their feet. Informed by the staff that certain items on the menu were unavailable. So we ordered chicken skewers among some other tapas which were on the menu, they had already sold out of lamb cutlets and not serving paella unless pre ordered (we were not aware of this when we booked). The meals arrived and none of the dishes looked freshly cooked, they were barely warm and looked as if they’d been sitting for a while. The bread was rubbery and tasted like those microwaved part-baked buns , and the patatas bravas was nothing like we’ve ever seen or tasted before! Basically warm boiled potatoes with a dollop of mayonnaise and some red sauce. Totally tasteless and again barely warm. The whole meal was extremely poor and tasteless and all 4 of us felt unwell a couple of days later. We would not recommend this restaurant and would have preferred to have been told they were full rather than be squeezed in with obviously no time to cook us a fresh meal!!

Had a fantastic meal at Espanol this evening. We had Tapas and Steak followed by dessert. Every single bite was delicious the staff were fantastic. I really can't recommend the place enough. Many thanks to all. Definitely be back. Mandy.

First things first, the aioli was the absolute highlight of the meal - it was incredible! We eat it quite frequently in my house and my wife is an expert at making it and this is the first time I’ve ever considered a restaurant to be on par with that - amazing! The calamari was nicely battered and crisp, the Spanish tortilla was wonderful, dense and flaky and the chorizo and clams in white wine sauce was equally flavorful. I’m glad I ventured out of the hotel for this meal.
