Great chippy. All the best classic chippy meals. Clean and great staff.

Update.Beautiful golden chips, magnificent mushy peas, a battered haggis that was moist, firm and well seasoned so tasty as to bring a tear of joy to the eyes of any Scot missing the homeland. Friendly staff and all freshly cooked. Bravo to the best chippy in town.πππ

Staying at the Cala Gran Fleetwood and traveling from the East coast arriving late we needed feeding and as Fleetwood seems to shut down early this one was open until 9pm,We turned up at 8:50 and as we had a order of 10 meals they were prepared to stay open to fry our order,The Haddock was lovely and sweet and proper chips and scraps to go with it, all fried to perfection, nobody had anything bad to say about the meals when we got back to the caravan,The staff were a good laugh and nothing was to much trouble considering they weren't going to finish on time,Well done to all and thank you,This is the place to go for fresh cooked fish and chips when in Cleveleys.

This is usually our go to chippy and never have any complaints however, I'm not sure if they have been taken over by different owners but today's order wasn't even edible. We asked for lightly battered, well done fish and it wasn't even battered on one side and was definitely not well done. Also the chips have been refried, my Nana worked in a chippy for years and I also could tell just by looking at them. Also the mushy peas were watery and flavourless.Disappointed to have to write this review.Reply to your reply:I honestly never have any complaints, we go regularly on a Wednesday as my sister's friend Caitlin works there. And like I said never have any complaints. Unfortunately this time just wasn't at the same standard. And yes it was a gentleman that cooked the fish that I haven't seen at the chippy before. Sorry you feel this way, I just wanted to leave feedback for future reference :)

Came here last night with a couple of friends. It's clear that the staff working here are out of their depth (especially the young lad), and mixed up the orders on more than one occasion. After further clarification on our end, we eventually got our food - which wasn't even that good. This place used to be one of the best in the Fylde coast area. Not anymore...

Very hit & miss. When itβs good, itβs very good, but we have recently had some awful takeaways with sausages not cooked and chips hard potato. Canβt rely on decent meal so sadly have changed to different takeaway.

Best Chippy around, love that they do just steak puddings here, the scallops and chips are always so fresh and crispy and the gravy reminds me of the proper chippy gravy I used to like when I was a kid!
