Guy's & Owd Nell's Tavern in Wyre

Almost loathed to share how good this place is as I want to be able to still get in when I want to go!Stopped in for late Saturday lunch on way home, demolished a steak pudding, so good!Hubby had cheese and onion pie, equally tasty, then smashed through a fabulous sticky toffee pudding!Long may this place continue to trade, great staff, friendly and helpful. Really good food.

The hotel and pub were lovely and all of the staff were friendly and helpful. We had to wait 45 for the table we had booked, but the food was good.

A Lovely location next to the canal and a short walk from the garden centre.Lovely food and outside space to sit and enjoy the countryside with a cool beer from the bar.

Walked down canal from Bridge House Marina 7 mile each way. But so worth it. Lovely walk, fab views then the Tavern was great, fab building. Lovely friendly efficient staff and the food was great. We had the 3 lamb chops and the homemade cheese pie both were excellent 👍

The tavern, which we only got drinks, was in a nice setting with the canal and the village of guy's. Tavern is dog friendly! 🐕We didnt get food as we went in the restaurant 😊

Staff were very helpful and friendly, our toddler has a lactose and wheat allergy and they sorted her a lovely pudding dairy free ice cream and fruit for her she absolutely loved it. The food was delicious and the venue itself is very scenic, warm and inviting it has lovely fires inside which is great for the time of year.

Quick friendly service. If you want the BEST STEAK AND KIDNEY PUDDING in the whole COUNTRY, you've come to the right place!!!!Reasonably priced and great value for money. Ample parking and caters for disabled. Best little pub,eateries near Lancaster. Would definitely highly recommend a visit

Excellent Steak and Kidney pudding! This place is a little gem, I really enjoyed my time here and I have visited many times in the past. The food is really tasty pub grub, wonderfully cooked and very filling. I had the Steak and Kidney pudding and it was chock-full of steak and kidney. The chips were nice too, chippy style and the veg on the side were nice also. My brother had Cheese and Onion Pie which he really enjoyed, but he said he could have done with some gravy as he forgot to order it (it's on the sides menu). There was plenty of staff and they were all really nice and friendly. Our food came quickly and it was nice and hot. The decor inside is really cool and I really like all the old signage. Will be back soon.
