Always lived this place, been coming for many years and will continue to visit for many more too! Great food, loads of space and options for walks! I've never stayed but will do at some point in the near future!Wallings ice cream after a long walk down the canal always a treat!Staff very friendly as always, quick service too!

Stayed for a 1 night get away. TV in the bathroom didn't work, waited and waited for someone to come and fix it but no one showed up. Bed was nice but the super thin walls ment we were kept up by what could only have been the love machine next doorViews out the window would have been OK if there wasn't a building site outside at the time of visiting

This place has it all! Fantastic food! Lovely accommodation! Friendly staff! But especially good is the atmosphere, so welcoming and cosy! We have been going to guy's since I was very young and 100% this is our go to place!!

Went to the restaurant for lunch today. The food quality is great like a traditional Italian very tasty. Service has always been quick at this time and they have a 2 or 3 course offer at lunch. If you can manage desserts they do have a homemade selection every day with all different types of liquor coffee.I have been to the restaurant for lunch many times before as they have an outdoor area now to catch the sun.I feel lunchtime is the best time to go to this restaurant as at weekends it gets very very busy and like most places and some reviews say it can slow the service down. Guys is an Italian family restaurant, pub , hotel and a nice walk along the canal. So understandably if you don’t like busy places go at lunchtime.

Went for teddy's bear picnic.Lots to do. Lots of space.Needed abit more signs for picnic etc. As never had been before. Restaurant was extremely busy as expected so didn't eat inside.Looks lovely and historic. Will come again when quieter.

Been here quite a few times and enjoyed walking around the place and along the canal. The pub, "Nell's Tavern", is usually busy but the food is generally both good quality and value. Staff are pretty helpful and friendly too.I can't comment on the excellent range of beers on the bar as I'm always driving. 😭

Amazing place to visit there's a canal you can walk down. Plenty of fields where events are put on. There are little shops there and a hotel where you can stay, and the food is amazing. The staff are lovely and welcoming. Would recommend it to everyone. Can't wait to go again.

It was nice in the rooms. The only complaint is about the restaurant. The service was not very good at all. We booked our meal for 8pm and didn't get served til 9. And when we finished our mains no staff came to see if we wanted a sweet menu or a coffee. And the bar in the restaurant area was rather extortionate as I got a small bottle of tonic water and it was £4.50!! That's such a rip off for such a tiny bottle. I don't know how they can get away with charging that .

The Italian restaurant is the best part. Food is tasty and reasonably priced. Service can be abit weird sometimes as drinks by 1 person and food another. But doesn’t distract from the quality of the food.

We love this place, and have been to the Italian restaurant at the side very recently. The staff are great, the only problems I had was the food could have been hotter, and the Latte , in my opinion, was not hot enough, and also was a small glass mug which was not full to the top, I did expect this as the price of the Lunch menu has gone up a decent amount , still love it though .
