La Mezzaluna Restaurant in Wyre

We visited La Mezzaluna on Saturday evening, last minute, without a booking and with two toddlers. We were made most welcome, the staff are lovely, really friendly. The food was excellant and well priced. We will definitely visit again next time we are in Carlisle.

A lovely small place in central Carlisle. I enjoyed a fab meal with my daughter. The service, food and ambience was great. And the price was very reasonable. If I'm back sometime, I'll definitely return here.

I went in during the day to book a table and was told they weren’t taking reservations due to staff shortages and was advised to come back when I was ready to check for availability.I later arrived for a table for 2, but was immediately asked ‘do I have a reservation’ and advised by front of house staff I needed a reservation.Poor customer service from staff and obviously poor internal communications and consistency to be told one thing in the afternoon and something completely different in the evening.

Had an absolute fantastic night. Amazing little Italian made me feel like i was back in Italy. All the staff were amazing really friendly and super helpful. And to top it the food was absolutely fantastic!! Would highly recommend 👌

The restaurant is small but very clean and tidy. The service and food were excellent and the prices were reasonable. I would certainly recommend this restaurant ideally situated in the city centre and close to a number of bars and the railway station. It is a good idea to book in advance as space is a premium.

Booked weeks ago for new years eve @ 4pm only to be asked to take a table upstairs with no other people up there !!! No chance - was told can't be seated downstairs as tables booked for 5 or 7 people!!! Sorry seat them upstairs alone together - wanted to go here for months.....Will never book again - such BAD service

Visited last night and had a lovely time. Food was fresh and tasty, and service was fast. Only thing I will say is that the table were quite close together, so lacking a bit of space and privacy.

Nice, warm and lovely place. Already have been in there a couple of times but never had the chance to take some pictures and to write a review. The food was always good and never had any issues, the staff is friendly and helpful. The prices are decent for food and drinks.We’ll definitely revisit the place at some point.
