Marsh Mill Tavern in Wyre

Following a visit today, we decided on the carvery. All looked very nice, until we sat down to eat. Everything was cold. Unlike my partner I cannot eat cold vegetables so I took the plate back to the carvery and advised that it was all cold. With no other option I asked if they could pop it in the microwave. It was microwaved within an inch of its life. The vegetables had turned to mush, the turkey I'm not sure if it should have been reheated and the cranberry sauce, what can I say.

We were a group of 7people, was waiting over an hour.My Lasagna was nice.But my friends steak, was very raw.They said was having problems in the kitchen.Probably won't go bk.

Carvery is great value for money and a really good selection of vegI didn't fancy the carvery although most of the others did three of us ordered from the menue great choiceLovely surroundings gets busy but doesn't feel soPuddings are to die for

Went on Dec 6 2021 for society meal. Had the medium carvery. Had a great night food was great. The meat was nice & tender. Loved the selection of vegetables on offer. The rosemary spuds are well trying. Didn't bother with deserts, but look very tasty and very tempting. Would visit again

This is our go-to takeaway carvery. Carrie the bar maid is particularly sweet. She makes you feel like part of the pub. The food is great. Wish we had more meat, purely because it was so good.

Well, sorry to say that unless we were being served, we were ignored by staff.Food was uneventful, very salty.Table not cleared so we moved away. Never asked if we wanted anything else or if we were happy with the meal.That's a shame a shame as the tavern is a lovely setting.

Great place, nice and busy. But you can still get a table, menu is very good. The carvery is awesome. Three meat choices.3 plate sizes small, regular and large..

This is the second time I have visited marsh mill tavern on my holiday to Blackpool. Being a Blackpool fanatic I love the place but it lacks great places to eat. We were recommended to try the marsh mill tavern and I was not disappointed. The food was great the staff were friendly and the prices were very reasonable. On my second visit today everything was perfect again but our waitress Alex was exceptional!! Alex welcomed us with a warm smile and friendly manner she was super attentive to our needs especially my very thirsty elderly father, she brought his pint straight away and then proceeded to bring out drinks after. I have to say working in hospitality & entertainment industry most of my life and I can see Alex is a tremendous asset to this venue! Well done Marsh Mill Tavern you have made a regular out of me on every visit to Blackpool in the future!

Excellent carvery, one of the best I've had in yrs. Lovely staff, and very well priced. Will defo return 👍

Good menu and carvery. Fantastic cakes and ice cream. Staff are helpful and friendly. Good menu if you don't want the carvery. Carvery has choice of small, medium and large plates and you buy a carvery ticket plus drinks at the bar before queuing for carvery. Make sure that you leave room for the cakes if you just can't fit it in or just want to buy to eat later they will give you a takeaway box.
