Stayed here lest night. Arrived early and had lunch.Good foodGood serviceClean roomFantastic land lady.We would definitely stay again.

Lovely ambience, friendly staff and fabulous food. Best chips I have ever tasted in a restaurants! Just what you want after a 5 mile walk. Well done Royal Oak, we will be back very soon!

In the centre of town,Only had drinks but food looked nice,Lady behind bar was friendly,beer good,dog friendly in certain areas,bit old fashioned inside,lots of tables out the front

Lovely one night stay in March 20222 in a single person, clean and newly refurbished room. Staff were very accommodating and kind with food allergy requests for breakfast. Nice old pub downstairs with rooms upstairs.

Not child friendlySecond time I've been to restaurant with a child and felt very unwelcomeThis time we had a baby in a pram and were told extremely rudely by the barman if we could fit into the corner of the front room we could have a table as the pram was a health and safety issue ( I wonder if his principal applies to other forms of mobility users )if not we couldn't despite there being lots of other tables availableHowever a polite and friendly waitress found us a table where we were able to sit without the pram being a health and safety issue

We visited the Royal Oak, in the evening, the staff were very accommodating polite and respectful, we ordered from the main menu and were served quite quickly. The starter was very nice, and more than I would normally expect for a starter. I found the main to be of a very good standard for a pub meal plenty of choice not too much and well cooked, will definitely be going back when in the area again.

Went for dinner, absolutely beautiful Sunday roast and my partner had the burger and really enjoyed it. Child's portions extremely generous, chicken goujons were massive and toddler really enjoyed them.Only criticism is that the baby change is in the women's toilets - meaning that my partner couldn't change toddlers nappy. Thankfully, on this occasion I was there, but not having provisions in the men's toilets is a massive oversight and disappointing.

A proper English pub, historically an old coach house.Food is the best in Lancashire, plenty to choose from, portions ample.Great atmosphere, conveniently in the Garstang center.Very clean rooms, family run business.
