The butty hut I've be going for years now and there's a very good reason for that and that is mandy Bailey the proprietor runs a tight and friendly ship food is always spot on and very tasty and very reasonably priced its a proper down to earth place where no one looks down there nose at you like your from a different planet like they do in other establishments I've visited her daughter hayley runs a barbers on site though separate and hair cuts are very good and priced fairly I would recommend this place on the A6 give it a pit stop try there's parking at front and rear don't get confused with the ice cream parlour/cafe at the front its the butty hut that treats you like family and not a conveyer belt customer enjoy hope I've helped reassure you enough to stop and try it

Best Sandwich place around. Friendly, fast and very fairly priced.The barbers directly across (Hayley) is also fantastic - been here for a few years now and you cannot fault anything!

One of the best breakfast buttie I've had for a while,Preston to Lancaster (Visa versa) take A 6 instead of M6.

Delicious food, the breakfast really sets you up for the day, nice under cover seating area to enjoy it. Mandy is very friendly and accommodating and helpful. Definitely a good value place to stop and get refreshments if you're in the area.

Always a great butty excellent menu and somewhere to shelter while you eat what more could you ask

Surprising decor, you kind of want to hang out here. Food is good and prices keen. The owners obviously love the place and like people too. Should be a given but isn't always. Full marks Ladies.😎

Breakfast bar ran efficiently by two lovely ladies. Friendly atmosphere and packed to the gunnels with breakfast, brunch, second breakfast and lunch ideas! I was definitely spoilt for choice. Actually it took me a while to decide!In the end I had Mandy's whammy burger - boy does it fill you up. It was full of workmen when I arrived all chomping at the bit. Rapid service and piping hot food. The queue went down quickly.Extensive menu that I could read even without my glasses! One guy asked for something not on the menu and the reply was, "if we have the ingredients we're good to go." Great customer focused attitude.There's a seating area outside well away from the A6. Try it - you won't be disappointed.They close at 2:00 pm on weekdays but it was 2:05 pm when I left and they were still serving!Would I go again? Yes. Value for money? Oh yes! I was stuffed!Would I recommend it, YES!
