The Friary in Wyre

Stopped by today all I can say is the chips were absolutely amazing they were brown and fluffy in the middle . The service was impeccable.Everything that went with the chips was also fantastic. Highly recommend 👍😀

Sadly the best I can give this one is 2 stars.The food itself was cooked well and the staff were friendly.However..As for portion size I wasn't exactly expecting a battered whale and a sack of spuds but if I gave my large fish and chips to my kids pet hamster then said hamster would think I had put him on a diet...My 7 year old daughter who eats like a mouse looked at me and did an Oliver twist job on it...Either halve the prices or double the portion sizes.Until then we won't be going back!!!

Called in the chippy Saturday tea time on the way back to Manchester . Excellent service food excellent(fish and chips) highly recommended.
