The Pork Shop in Wyre

family of 3 , we got our dinner here today , while on a short day out, we all got a meat and potato pie each and i also got a jumbo sausage roll, the little meat and potato pies cost 2.50 each thats not a typo, it was 2.50 each ! and it really was junk , no meat at all, nothing in all 3 pies,just some tastless potato,really really bad, and what im about to say next is also genuinley true ,bcos my mum didnt like the pie she gave it to a dog, and the dog that was jumping happy for some didnt even eat it! , it really didnt!, the sausage roll was also total junk, the pork filling was a sloppy mush, due to having very very little pork in, mostly fillers ,id go anywhere else, bcos even if its also this bad it will cost less anyway

Last time I was at a BFC match I had a pie from your establishment. It was awful think it must have been old stock because it was know thing like your from shop

What amazing service. My good lady and I stopped for 2 pies and a pack of barmcakes to enjoy in the churchyard. The lady guessed the barmcakes were for the pies and offered to slice butter and apply the right amount of red sauce to make a very delightful treat. Taste of the cheese and onion pies and vanilla slices were amazing too.

Just had a farmyard steak and ale pie. They look great on the outside but are not on the inside . The pastry is very stodgy and the filling is even worse. Tasteless meat mixed with onion and bulking agent that gave it a very gooey pink appearance. I expected a dark brown , rich , gravy filled pie. Even chip shop pies are much better! It’s all well and good expanding your business but not at the expense of your core products. I won’t be buying again.

Just had a pork shop steak and farmyard ale pie.Two pieces of meat and the rest of the pie was thick gravy. Won't be buying again.

Just got two steak pies and now they are in the bin. Worst pies i have ever had, over baked and if.i could load the picture I would. What happened to the pork shop it was great before its refurb

Served by the lady in the Bispham shop, really friendly and talked about what products they offer and actually took time showing where they are in the shop. You get what you pay for and that is quality, I would definitely recommend. Top class all round.

We have had delivery of an extra large Valentine pork pie, £14.99 same price for collection. I see they do a birthday pie for the same price. We were intending to share this with members of our family. We can only say we feel well and truly ripped off. What a pitiful pie, 800 gms. It might be tasty but be warned, you reap what you sow. The public will vote with their feet and deservedly so. We are now ex customers, I hope others are of the same mind. We are not after something for nothing, at the price charged we expected something special, not a cut out heart on the crust. Disgraceful.

Great variety of meat, pies, pasties and sausage. Bought an Uncle Dave's pork pie last time I was here and I thoroughly recommend it! Lovely flavour, a bit spicy, melt in the mouth pastry. There's also a nice selection of confectionery. Treated myself to a Manchester tart and it was delicious! Helpful friendly staff and very reasonable prices for such quality food.
