The Venue in Wyre

Good service and great staff. Loved the menu with a 'smaller plates' option. Husband had the meat platter exceptional, had to have a doggy bag (cardboard not polystyrene, impressed).

Absolutely brilliant Mother's Day lunch, all thanks to The Venue. The set menu was amazing with a surprising amount of vegetarian alternatives. The food was delicious and plentiful. I mean, the portions were big. More than worth the modest proce tag! The kitchen staff were very accommodating when getting some melon for my niece, even though it wasn't technically available. The service staff were outstanding and friendly. I am so glad that The Venue is around.

This place is unbelievable, the food is out of this world and the staff are so friendly and helpful. Found my new regular.

Nice, local, dog friendly pub that serves decent food. Nicely laid out inside, nothing fancy but just what you need. View from the front/outside over the seafront is lovely. Prices were reasonable and portions sizes very good. Staff were very helpful and happy. Overall a nice visit and would return. Also has the restaurant upstairs and a room to hire downstairs, and a large carpark

First time here, treating the family to food and drink. Definitely be back here again. Amazing food, good quality, reasonably priced, attentive and helpful staff. Dog friendly my dog wants to come back too especially to receive the lovely treats from the staff! Thank you The Venue!

It was a lunch with Friends. The food was hot and of a good quality except for a couple of veg. Which were cold. It was heated up.Mum had a children's burger which was huge.The waitress was attentive and friendly.We enjoy eating here and would recommend a visit.I gave a 4 because of the cold veg. Normally I give a 5.

As a customer for over 15 years, I've noticed a gradual but consistent decline in the quality of the food. The tea and coffee gets colder when it's served. Today the chicken and leek pie was congealed, dry and tasteless. With each new menu the price creeps up and the quality slides down. It's a real shame, lovely building with excellent views and attentive staff. It just isn't good enough anymore, with so many better places on this coast, I've finished with The Venue.

Hadn't been for a few years but will certainly be going back. We each had garlic mushrooms for a starter, it was the best we'd ever had, superb. I had chicken and leek pie, the wife had pork belly for mains. Both meals were very good (turnip was a bit hard, too bigga chunk). The service was excellent. No deserts, we couldn't fit them in. We would definitely recommend it.

Christmas meal with colleagues. Meals for all we're good and the staff were quick to assist. My only gripe was my back was to the sea and I sat along the back wall. The wind off the sea appeared to travel right through and it was uncomfortably cold. The staff did up the heating which helped a little. I would gladly return here as the meals were good and staff really went out of there way to make our groups party a good one.

Absolutely cannot fault it,The food was excellent the staff was brilliant I took a group of 20 family and friends,We really enjoyed the atmosphere,We definitely will go again,Thank you for a lovely evening.Elaine
