Awsome chippy, quality food always hot and always tasty. My only complaint would be that you don't stay open late enough....had to order from a competitor and it was minging 😉.

Ordered our food and the chips are clearly not fresh and the fish had a thick greasy layer on batter on it and the fish itself was like rubber, might've had a slow shift but no excuse to sell left out food because it really was disgusting

Placed order and paid on line all secure and easy to useTracking my order was easy and the food was ready when I arrived. Fish was fresh and lightly battered chips were fab all in all a good experience a d would definitely order again. Maybe this time to be deliveredThe two young servers were polite and smileyDefinitely recommend

Disgusting attitude!Decided to give this place one more chance as it used to be nice. My partner went round and ordered our food (over £30) and read out our order 3 times which included 2 TUBS of gravy. When he returned with the food they had smothered 2 of the meals in gravy, making the already greasy food really soggy and inedible.My sister went to ask them to rectify the issue and was given nothing but attitude by the young girl at the counter and the man cooking and told it is our problem, not theirs.My partner then returned and was given the same attitude. After refusing to leave without either a refund or a fresh order, they begrudgingly made the 2 meals again.Will not be using again purely due to the attitude we were given when it was their error in the first place!

Best chippy I have bought from,great price and generous portions.Nice fish,fresh and flakey and the batter is nice..chips are spot on too.Friendly staff and owners😊Will definitely be making this my regular chippy. 👍

Just a follow up on my 3 star rating, very disappointed overall, bitty chips, over cooked peas, and possible frozen haddock. This is based on the Quality of food. The service was prompt, and the staff were polite.But sadly won't be using this place for some time.

I ordered one chips 2 jumbo sausage 1 curry sauce and 1 gravy which came to £12 delivery time should have been 6.15 but it didnt arrive till 7pm and was cold. Very disappointed.

This chippy is usually half decent.. but I think I’m going to go elsewhere in future. You’re supposed to let your fish drain when it’s been taken out of the oil.. but they just plonk it straight on some grease proof and it’s soggy when you get home. The chips were actually disgusting this time. They’re usually good but wow, I had to pick out the ones that looked half decent to eat. Never going again. Last 3 visits the food as been shocking.

This currently seems to serve the best fish and chips in Thornton. The staff are efficient and friendly. The fish is covered in a good batter mix. The chips are hot and well fried. The fish quality is top class

Went for the first time today and had chips there were 3 of us so got three portions. They were the most disgusting chips we have ever had and all of us didn't stop going to the loo. We will never never waste our money again. How they won awards I do not know. You all need to try the new fish and chip next to sainsbury express on victoria road west they are the ones who deserve the awards. I do hope the owners read this. The chips were dark brown in colour and just disgusting thank goodness we didn't order fish!!
