STAY AWAY!!!!!!!!!!!Extortionate prices for the portion sizes! What happened to fish chips peas and gravy for around £5 now you have to take a mortgage out to get enough gravy to pour over your chips. Ridiculously over priced grease would highly recommend you stay clear. On the toilet half way through eating it that's atleast £10 down the pan.Not being funny but as a buisness owner and to get a reply like that in that manner you know that there is truth in my statement. You don't respect your customers all you care about is making money even if it means cutting corners, overpricing, undercutting on portions and not cooking your food correctly making numerous customers ill. Like I said before to everyone if you get chance to read this before going to this horrendous chip shop AVOID IT AT ALL COSTS!

Excellent fish and chips as always served in a cardboard box. Not only good for the environment, but it keeps your chips warm with out them sweating and going soggy like they do in polystyrene boxes.

Absolutely magnificent food! I've been here a fair few times and the food is delicious, the curry is nice, sausages are perfect and all in all, a great place to go for your dinner! Would highly recommend you try it out :)

Was a really nice chip shop, very fresh and nicely cooked. The smokie could have been cooked more.

First time here since moving to the area and we will be back again. If you are wanting gluten free, give them plenty of time as I think they have to heat up a separate fryer. Always appears busy and they found a way to keep going through the covid restrictions. Well done.

Disgusting - meat & potato pie pastry was so rubbery it couldn't be cut with a knife. It had to be torn / pulled apart. Contents not much better - see photograph. Chips cooked OK but for the bits of grit on the them. At £4.10 they at least provided me with a large bin to put all of my food in. It hurts me to have to rate a business with one star - but businesses need to serve up quality.

Big portions, very tasty if a little on the greasy side but hey its a fish and chip shop! Very pleasant young lady at the serving window providing a fast efficient service. Did I mention how big the portions were? I'm stuffed now.

Fish Chips Peas and Gravy All of it was Fantastic But The Fish was without a doubt the nicest fish I’ve ever eaten unbelievably nice.
