Was there several weeks ago having read glowing reviews of this establishment. Parking available directly outside. Inside the bar area, where we sat for our meal, was clean and well ventilated. My brother ordered a pint of Estrella lager. An excellent pint if a bit pricey. I ordered a bottle of Portuguese red wine. Prices on wine list were reasonably and competitive with other places we have visited. Ordered the sirloin steak. My brother ordered the burger. Staff friendly and attentive. To be honest was a bit disappointed with the meal after reading the excellent reviews left by others. Portion was not brilliant and not the cheapest. The steak was fine but small portion of mushrooms and onion rings. On the other hand my brothers serving looked more than ample. After a call to Chris at the White Bull I have amended this review. I thought the chips were frozen. Chris explained how these were sourced and prepared and I’m happy to amend this review.Overall no major complaints hence the 4 stars in the review. Maybe the glowing reviews had raised my expectations to a high level and they were not met.

What a little gem! We booked for a Sunday and had a very warm welcome. Drinks quick to arrive! The four meals we ordered were excellent ! The vegetarian meal we ordered was so much better than expected. Very generous portions. Good value. Would highly recommend !

It was the first time we had been to the White Bull at it won't be the last. From the moment we arrived we were made to be part of the family. The bar staff were fabulous and very attentive. It was Mother's Day so it was busy they appolagised to us saying it will be 15 minutes before we could order which was fine.Chris the landlord came over and chatted to us he was really friendly. My husband and I both had pate which was delicious I had steak which melted in your mouth and my husband had Sunday lunch which was mouthwatering.we both shared the cheesecake again delicious.we could not recommended the Whitebull enough and will be back.

Hadn’t been for a number of years. Sothe reviews and visited to see for ourselves . Friday lunch 18th Feb. Very pleasant greeting on arrival and shown to table in very nice warm dining room with comfortable seating . Menu is extensive with great variety covering mains and snacks. We both had the sea bass fillet which came well cooked hot and nicely presented. For cask beer lovers there are three ales to choose from ,first class. Staff are pleasant and nothing is too much trouble. Great lunch break while storm Eunice was raging. Will return.

Stunning. We were staying locally and the owner of our B & B recommended the White Bull - thankfully we followed his advice. From the barman to the waitresses, the drinks and the food - all were delightful. Very impressed and plan to return with friends soon.

This was a real accidental find at the end of our vacation in Scotland, and driving home to the South. Perfect place to stay a few nights - we loved exploring the Ribble Valley, good walks along river and Clitheroe. Bob and Marilyn were super-hosts and hinted places we'd find interesting. Our double-room and en-suite were comfortable to rest and get ready for dinner in the White Bulls quaint restaurant. Excellent breakfasts and evening meals; good to chat with Chris behind the bar.

We decided to try Sunday lunch at the White Bull, I'm glad we did. A really warm and genuine welcome when we arrived, a quick to arrive round of drinks and a hearty meal full of flavour. We were only in the area a week and it was a shame we couldn't fit this place in again. Will definitely be back next time

Lamb rump with hotpot main was full of flavour roast carrots were tasty a really delicious meal. Mango and passionfruit cheesecake for dessert was divine absolutely spot on for flavour! Partner had baked suet pie with mash another excellent tasty meal followed by the orchard crumble with toffee apple ice cream. This was the best pub food I've had in a long time. The staff were friendly and service was excellent. Can't wait to visit again.

Lovely food, drinks & extremely warming & friendly staff.Only knocked a point with a slight wait on food but nothing major & a lack of heaters outside making dining rather nippy once the sunshine disappeared (which, you know, is common in England).Again really nice food though and thoroughly enjoyed my 10oz Ribeye & would highly recommend it to anyone!

Outstanding food at great value. Set in the picturesque village of ribchester with modern decor, big beer garden, large selection of drinks especially wine and outstanding food. The staff and owners are extremely accommodating and friendly 😁😁 would highly recommend this place. It's Lancashire cuisine done perfectly in a cosy and relaxing backdrop with super nice friendly staff... Music is great too.. Can't fault it
