Golden Fish in Adur

Staff sat watching TV eating spring rolls when I arrived. Didn't stop eating or wash his hands whilst preparing my chips.Never heard of cross contamination or personal hygiene obviously.

Nice taste. Had my fish and chips take away. Well packed up with enough sauces. Enjoyed

So we ordered from here and the food wasn’t the best. We both actually got food poisoning and was throwing up and have bad bellys and a fever. Wouldn’t order again.

Gave me and my girlfriend food poisoning, lacked taste and was very disappointed, we are certain it was from the Chicken in ginger.

I have no idea why I can't leave my review on uber eats, buy even of later delivery was worth to wait food was amazing. Thank you and order again

Always good haddock and chips, always good serving sizes. Added note: sadly, a visit some months later, the haddock batter was very disappointing and the fish inside was barely cooked, and small quantity - could not finish it due to unpleasant taste and texture. Hopefully this was a bad night, but I won't be going back.

Absolutely horridNo chips yes you hears right no chips.So ordered a curry roll 20 mins later it was ready.Got it home its rawTrust me miss this 1 out

They're okay. Everything is about as standard as local Chinese and chip shop food gets, but the price is good, food is quick, large portions and they usually get the order right 👍

Got 3 haddock and chips for dinner tonight. The batter was completely raw (thick mushy white paste under the soggy outside) and dwarfed the fish (which looked like a small Iceland fillet). None of us were able to finish the fish. Possibly tonight was a bad night, but as a result of this experience we wont be coming back.

Just had fish and chips from here for the first time. Have tried others but must admit this has been the best. The cod was white and firm as it should be and the chips were were fluffy and crisp on the outside. Will definitely use them again and would also recommend Golden Fish
