Lotus House in Adur

Going by previous reviews I must have caught this place on a bad day. I had a chicken curry and chips and the only thing in its favour was that it was hot.If I was blind folded and ask to taste that meal, I would never have guessed it to be curry.It was devoid of taste, very watery and sparse in chicken which came in half inch diced cubes, with only bits of onion added.Very disappointed and will not use again but will repeat, I may have caught them on a bad day

The best takeaway I've had in a long time. Dont go anywhere else in Sompting. Credit where it's due. The food was delicious and I could not fault it. The lady taking the order was so pleasant and the chef knows how to produce great food. Many thanks to both of you.

Thank you for a big Birthday meal from Lotus House last night. Food was spot on, friendly lady(thanks for the chocolate) and everyone were really full up and have leftovers for lunch. Although they are not doing delivery but picking up is not a problem well worth for the food. Keep it up, Lotus House and team

Food was consistently delicious and quick. Their chicken and prawn balls are ever nicely done so is the the breaded chicken. Staffs were really helpful and friendly. Will definitely be back soon.

Lemon chicken not as good as it used to be. Chicken pieces were dry and over crispy not enough sauce. However their chips remain good, dry and not oily.

Very pleasant staff. Food well packaged, fresh and very tasty. Even the prawn crackers were great. Easy parking. Will now always use this take away. Possibly one of best take always ever used.

Due to my usual Chinese is close I have been trying others and found Lotus House is the best so far. Reasonable price with taste great especially crispy beef and no long wait. Will be ordering next time !

Should have find this little gem earlier. Food was yummy and portions were huge. Manage to squeeze us in for an early slot on a very busy Saturday night which makes the whole family really impressed. Will be back for more please keep open, Lotus House !

Had a great meal as always from Lotus House, food were cooked to standard, good portions and quick can’t fault the lady who served were always nice and willing to cook what we asked for. Thank you for a delicious meal and will definitely come back again

1 star given and is very generous due to my partners dishes being better than mine... Very disappointed! Chicken chow mein had bones in the dish and it was very burnt and dry - I couldn't eat it all and was left feeling sick due to the amount of bones and fat that was in the dish... disgusting for me and I won't be ordering from here again!
