Stopped at Marquis for bite to eat with my mum and my daughter. The staff was really nice and very welcoming. Our food was really great especially my mums starter which she really enjoyed. I definitely would recommend coming back and trying something new.

Spent an enjoyable evening on one of the comfy sofas. Chatted with the locals and the bar staff. Food was good although some options were not available. Chicken taco starter was really good.

I had a traditional Sunday Roast freshly cooked and it tasted amazing compliments to the chef, Great atmosphere and wonderful staff, perfect for hosting our regular family dinners... All of the children especially loved their deserts.

Visited this pub yesterday with family, had food and a friend joined us too. The staff are great and attentive and nothing was to much trouble for them. We decided we had such a great time that we have visited again today. Food was still great and the staff again were brilliant. Food is pub grub but at a great price and good quality products. We will definitely be regulars here at this pub. Already booked a table for next week

This is a large pub on the outskirts of Esher. We stopped here by accident as we were trying to avoid an accident on the M25. The pub is nice enough and dog friendly. The food was good and the beer was in good condition, although I'm not a fan of Greene King. Would stop here again if I had to but wouldn't go out of my way to visit again.

Wish I had read reviews about it not being a carvery anymore. I knew as soon as I walked in for Sunday lunch that something was up as the place was deserted. What a shame as the carvery used to be so popular and fun. Furthermore, the carvery food was great - you saw what was prepared and it was fresh and plentiful. Now, the roasts are served to you at your table but they are not good - the whole lot looked like a pre-prepared/cooked from frozen ready meal. We were hungry and ate but really underwhelming food and a depressing experience to see a once busy place so quiet. Will not return and I suspect their regular costumers have gone elsewhere too. Offering a good Sunday roast is essential for a good pub, be it a carvery or not. And now we are in no-restriction Covid times, why can't Greene King deliver a good carvery safely when other reputable places can? No excuse.
