I went for the ultimate breakfast and my wife had the eggs and bacon. It was all tasty. Service was excellent. The place can be quite noisy when busy due to the hard floor. I would give it 5 stars if the baked bean portion was doubled in size. The granary bread was good but it made the breakfast a little bit too dry. More beans would have made it perfect.

Really nice place to stop for lunch. Oldest airport in the country, seating inside and out, views over the airfield to the downs and a lovely art deco building. Service with a smile from helpful staff and nice food. What's not to like!

Absolutely love this place, we cycled all the way from Crawley, gate is now shut so we have to leave our bikes out the front, asked if we could look at the cakes available as we were going to sit out the front. Was told not to come in the main area but to order from the menu, 3 cakes we asked for were not available, basically everything seemed to be an effort so we went elsewhere. However, don't let my review put you off, lovely building, lovely setting just not to accommodating for us cyclists anymore, £100+ lost in revenue today. 🤔

Just went to see the airport was a bit surprised you couldn't just view the airport from one point. So went in ordered a coffee was very pleasant. No menu given. I like to know choices/prices before I order. Thankfully 2 drinks at around £5 that was ok. pay and display carpark. Yes I would go back as it's a lovely place to sit and have coffee

Really like this cafe overlooking the airfields. Today went for breakfast with my wife. I am a carnivore and wife a veggie. I asked for my meat to be charred and crisp. Came limp and beige so sent back for more cooking. Came back just a bit tanned but the egg had been cooked dry so had to get a new egg. Also missed an egg on the veggie breakfast so had to get that sorted. The waiting staff were a dream but think the chef was maybe a Ramsey wannabe that didn’t want to cook what the customer wanted. Waiting staff very apologetic but not their fault at all.

Fantastic home cooked food in a Beautiful 1920’s Art Deco building which is the traffic control tower for Brighton City Airport. All of the staff are so friendly and the food was so good that the restaurant was packed on a tuesday lunchtime. Overlooks the airfield. Really lovely place to be.

I love this place. Art Deco airport building. Access to the terrace to watch the comings and goings. Great food. Can be busy.

Full English breakfast is good value for money and nicely cooked. It came with a good "doorstop" wodge of toast. It's atmospheric with views of the runway & planes dotted about. Shame about the parking charge though - on a Sunday too.

Still operating a one way system, wait behind a rope to be seated.Well, I have never been met by a more unfriendly waitress in my life. I sat down and was immediately asked if I was eating, before I had even looked at the menu, and I felt that she implied with her tone of voice, that to eat might be inconvenient! Our conversation was initially dominated by how 'off' the waitress was and made us feel uncomfortable.Maybe she was having a bad day, but in customer service, this really shouldn't be felt by your customers.I will not return. I ordered a latte and a scone, which was very nice however.

We visited last week with my 2yr old son who loves planes and my husband.Pay and display parking out side the cafe. The service was excellent and the restaurant was lovely! Food was nice £12 for a burger and chips which was a big portion. Social distancing well maintained.Great view although there wasn't much movement when we visited and only saw 3 planes and a couple of helicopters. Still really enjoyed it.Love the art deco vibe and history.
