This was the first time I had been there, I attended the American car and custom meet on a Sunday morning, all the staff were very friendly and I had a breakfast and coffee, the pub was spotlessly clean and I will definitely be going back.

We have attended live music night and it was great. Lovely stuff, fab food and service.I would like the Pub to advertise live music better as it seemed to be very quiet and I was not able to confirm for a long time.We had a great time. The Pub is specious so great for group dining - night out :) thanks for hosting!

The Longshore has become our regular ladies lunchtime meeting place with great food and friendly service. Our waitress last week was Katie who was new to us but gave the friendly & warm service we have become used to. Some different food choices available and changes to the menu layout too, making options clearer to read for those wanting the light bite with the reduced price dessert. We're already booked in again for next month!!

All staff very helpful and friendly, especially our waitress. (Had a red and black dress on).We actually booked to see the entertainment- Phil Collins tribute. He was very good and we really enjoyed the evening. However, we felt for the singer as there was literally hardly anyone there. I don't think the evening had been promoted at all. I only knew about it from the poster on the wall. When I booked the table online I was surprised that no mention of entertainment was on there, and there was loads of availability for tables. Also, if the entertainment had started earlier while people were still eating, I think they would have stayed on to enjoy it.

When we arrived we were greeted by Daniel and taken to our table. Shortly after we were served our drinks. My wife ordered fish and chips and were told they had no tar tar sauce so decided against the fish and ordered a burger. A few minutes later Daniel came back and was told the manager would make some fresh tar tar. My wife said it was the best she had tasted. Gammon, egg and chips for me which was perfectly cooked. We also had deserts which were great. Definitely recommend The Longshore. Thank you Daniel and James at the bar

Food was great, very hot and cooked well, service was exceptionally slow. Staff are friendly, they took the drinks order quickly, but then it took another 20 minutes for them to take the food order, and then further 30+ minutes for the food to arrive. Not sure why as the restaurant was not even that busy. They have changed their menu, and put up all the prices, and no longer do refill soft drinks. We all had finished our drinks before our food arrived. We will not be rushing back.

A group of us ate here last night, we were celebrating a friends retirement. The food was very good value and tasty. The team were great, really friendly and the service was fantastic - especially as there was 20 of us, all ordering drinks, different menu options. Thanks to Zoe and James, and special thanks to James who looked after us all evening.

The meal was fine. The service was very slow considering it wasn't particularly busy. One order was wrong. We asked to swap the vegetables for salad with the steak and they swapped the chips out instead. The staff were pleasant and friendly.

Dropped in during a walk and decided to eat. The welcome was warm and friendly and the service by Micheala was efficient and her manner cheery and obliging. Although there is plenty of choice and the food was fresh ,well cooked and presented . We were encouraged to anticipate a return to the full menu before too long........we shall just have to pop back.🙂

I had the hunters chicken, which was very nice. My other half had the Sunday roast and I was disappointing, the veg looked and tasted like it had been under a heat lamp for a long time. The service was very good though. I would go again just not have the roast.
