A & W in Arun

Arun council are a disgraceful organisation,especially there housing department & neighbourhood service ,the top managers are up there own arse they don’t even return calls & they get paid far to much .I was given 4 days to move into a property,down sizing,I told them I needed to get carpet down,before moving in, as I have arthritis in my feet ,that’s not there problem they said,when I was half moved in ,after 8 hrs they told me to stop ,because of the work that needed doing,7 weeks later & now some of my belongings have been stolen,the council say it’s not there problem,yet access to the property was gained using a key the builders keep in THERE key safe,there code,there safe,there workers,that being Osbornes,there is zero help from the Arun council & there employees are completely useless.

trying to get hold of someone from reception is like talking to a brick wall, sent to wrong dept. several times ,given wrong e-mail addresses, cant go to speak to someone in person, they dont ring you back if you send a message or leave a voicemail !!!

Transferred all over the place if I could give 0 Stars I would. If you were in a competitive business you would be bankrupt in a week …shameful

Absolutely disgusting how they gave a parking ticket after making a honest mistake sent them plenty of proof for the reason it was a honest mistake and stilled fined me £50. They can clearly see I would of payed the extra 2pound for a whole day I payed £8 for 2hrs or could pay 10pound for 12hrs come on you can clearly see it was a honest mistake but this council want to take every penny they can. The board is not clear as they have a tarrif for summer and a tarrif for winter. After sending them proof of a full day ticket at Butlins and other proof still rejected me. Be aware of there miss leading ticket board. You try to have a nice fun day as a family theyn you have this council waiting to pounce and take your hard earned money for no reason. Instead of asking me just to pay the extra £2 and give me benefit of the doubt they want to take your money

I would like to make a suggestion to youin the park off Fitzallen Road there is an area that is never used I understand on the the Covenant it is for tennis court but they already have tennis courts which are not being filled.this area if left uncut would make the most beautiful wildflower Meadow to support the bees and it would look so lovely it always does until it's cut again please help the beesCelia LoveringGet Outlook for Android

I have lived in this district since 1952. In 2006 i moved to the Bournemouth area for 12 years, retired back to home territory . The difference in council services is huge. Arun council are money grabbers, especially parking. No respite from the black uniformed old foggies in new vans paid for by vehicle fines. and yet they cant even keep the gutters clean of weeds. They send round a scarab vehicle on a sunday to hopelessly brush leaves into the middle of the road. Double time for the operator i presume. I have known for years that you love taking our council tax but give very little back. In Bournemouth the parking is much more relaxed, they spend money on gutter cleaning and provide a lot of other things that Arun dont. The only reason i came back was to be closer to family. Nothing else i can assure you.

Hard to contact by phone although they do promise to call you back within 24 hours. They do not seem to share essential information such as p0a registration. as

To think the general public should put their bins out for collection as early as 7am is utter stupidity ,when in fact, they don't usually come till the afternoon, total disparity of this useless service

Very professional staff and that is new to me... They certainly retrained their staff.. in the building itself they did some dramatic changes... It does look very smart... Toilet available and was very clean

Tried to access Rubbish & Recycling Collection days for BN16 2AY (Pigeonhouse Lane,Rustington) but doesn't recognise postcode!! Ridiculous and about as useful as a chocolate teapot!!
