Big Fry in Arun

Always the best. I was concerned that it wouldn't be as good after the shop refit but it was just as good as before

Good fish and chips, haddock always good and cooked fresh for us. Mushy peas and curry sauce a nice addition. Visit whenever we are in the area with our little grandson. Been refitted and is still very good

Visit Big Fry for the first time, food was awesome as well as staff. Not very happy with the prices and the fact that customers have to pay for ketchup, should be a complementary option. but will defo come back!

Never any large cod or huss but food usually well cooked. However, went there today after a couple of years and the cod was very, very oily. All cooked fresh so maybe it wasn't left to drain for long. Chicken burger was very good. Chips were not oily.

Very nice indeed infact we were the last customer for the afternoon yet the chips were lovely and the sausage was delicious, we will definatly be going there again as it was our first time there.

Ordered a 1/4 cheese burger, chips and curry sauce; the chips were very good, right amount of salt. The curry sauce was definitely one of the better ones I've tried compared to other fish & chip places. The beef patty was a little on the dry side around the edges, the cheese was pretty pathetic, but overall tasted okay.

The cod was spot on! The chips were a little soft by the time I got them home. But overall wonderful. Would have had 5 stars of they did not forget my frankfurters. Maybe next time eh!

How on earth this establishment has scored nearly 5 Stars is beyond me. Today was the second time I’ve been there and am even more disappointed than my first. Firstly they don’t sell Large Cod and Chips. What chippy doesn’t sell Large Cod? So I just bought a couple of battered sausages and small portion of chips. It was the worst I’ve tasted. Chips were all dried out and the sausages had virtually no batter whatsoever. Really very disappointing. I will never go back, but instead go back to my favourite Fish and Chip shop in Beach Road, Littlehampton. If you fancy fish and chips, don’t bother with ‘Big Fry’. There are plenty of far superior fish and chip shops in the area. By the way, the staff could do with a talk about their attitude towards customers!!
