China Royal in Arun

Took my order for delivery, then after a long push to make me pay CASH 🤔 which i didn't have, they took my debit card and collected payment. After taking payment they said they're not giving my order because my card doesn't match my delivery postcode. I wanted the driver to bring a card machine but wasn't possible. They cancelled my order and I didn't receive my funds back of £21.20. (Edit: I did finally receive back 5 days later)But I was shocked that, as a regular customer, why couldn't they see I order from them to my address regularly and I'm clearly not trying to steal someone's card. I pay with the same card via Just Eat every time.The only difference, this time I called them directly to save on the Just Eat fees for us both.And the reason I'd even needed to call is because their website checkout is BROKEN and boots you back to menu with empty an cart every time.Didn't offer an alternative either (like taking my CORRECT billing postcode), they just cancelled my order. So if you pay by card and you're at a friend's, parents, relatives house they'll take your payment then cancel your order.They never asked for my billing postcode which I would have provided.With the poor service and unhelpful attitudes it will be the last time I buy from here - I should never have strayed away from Jasmine House. They're more expensive, but much better quality food so I'd rather pay that little extra for good service and better food. Buy cheap, buy twice as they say, although this place isn't that cheap, I think the food is overpriced for the quality

We have been customers for over 10 years, ordering regularly once a week for the past 2 or 3 years. Generally nice food, good choice of vegetarian dishes but our request not to put garlic in the beancurd or peas in the fu yung is sometimes ignored. A few times we phoned them up and they replaced the dishes, tonight they sent 2 portions of beancurd covered in garlic and when contacted, they insisted there was no garlic. I took photographs and emailed them to the restaurant, they did not reply. After the second phone call, they sent the driver to collect the portions and give us a refund. Very bad, defensive attitude, if they don’t take allergies seriously, they risk closing the restaurant. Might need to look at alternatives now. Pity.

The shredded chilli beef was rock hard, dry and completely inedible. The sweet and sour chicken was also bone dry and had a strange taste. It was not worth the cost and I won't order from them again.

Was recommended to us by the Butlin’s staff as being the place that they all go to.We ended up having it twice in one week.The only thing we did not order on the second meal, was the ribs. They was very chewy and dry, with hardly any bbq sauce in them and unappetising to look at.Great comms re delivery just need to make sure that if you order for delivery after 8pm, the Butlin’s beach gate will be closed.

Went to this Restaurant on my birthday last week and loved it the food was fresh and tasty the staff were friendly and helpful, so I’ll definitely be going back again

Nothing special at all from the outside and the decor inside is rather dated hence 4 rather than 5 stars. However, the food and service more than make up for that. All you can eat for £22 if you're hungry. Between our party we tried most of them and could find no fault at all. I think we nearly ate them out of King prawns and duck! Some of the best quality Chinese cooking we have had in a long time.

Didn’t taste like authentic Chinese food at all. The chicken used in the sweet and sour chicken balls had a strange taste to it. It wasn’t inedible, but it had a strange smell to it as well. Butterfly prawns were super dry and there were no sauces provided at all. Service felt a bit rushed. We went for the A la Carte menu, portions were good, but I’d not recommend if you’re looking for decent Chinese food. 👎🏼

We visited last night as the place we originally booked didn’t have a high chair. This place is great!!!! Food very very tasty. Excellent value forMoney. Service was excellent ‘! Highly recommend!

Another visit to my favourite Chinese restaurant in Bognor Regis, with some Chinese friends & yet again, more fabulous food & service.The food offering is of such great quality, I personally, have struggled to find anywhere as good. Even my friends agreed, that this was some seriously tasty & authentic Chinese food.I can't wait to go back.
