Just had fish and chips from Fred's x 2 + burger and chips well what can I say... absolutely awful! Cost over £20!!! Not a cheap meal anymore! Dont mind if it's worth the money this was not at all!! The fish was very small all batter the cod was nowhere to be seen! A tiny bit here and there which was stuck to the batter. The chips ...yuk! all stuck together soggy heavy oily!! Looking forward to it for dinner bitterly disappointed 😞 won't be going back. Usually go to Oscars unfortunately shut tonight.

Just visited as only 2 places for fish and chips at harbour. Ordered 2 small chips and 1 large. Shocked by the portion size. Far too small. The large portion was smaller than the the small portions from regular various fish and chip shops in surrey. Chips were ok. Bit undercooked. Oh and wait was ridiculous.

Excellent cod & chips. Friendly young staff. My dog and I sat overlooking the nearby boating lake. Very enjoyable lunch.

Have been using Fred's for many years, with no problem always good. But unfortunately has gone somewhat downhill recently. Won't be going back in a hurry.

Fantastic local fish and chips, the food comes out quick and hot. I used to order a large but I just can't eat all of it any more and it made me sad to see it wasted. Can be very busy in the summer so get there early or they'll sell out.

Fish tasted amazing it's cooked from fresh. Crispy batter. Really friendly staff. Quick service. Very clean. Staff accommodated my awkward needs. Well worth going to. I will be back here next time I'm visiting little Hampton.
