Friary Arms in Arun

Visited this back street pub in Bognor Regis last week, very polite and friendly landlord. Best pint of HSB I have had in years. I only had a sandwich which was excellent, but the food I did see being served looked delicious and nobody was complaining!!!Purchased some slices of coffee and walnut cake to takeaway. It was 'to die for'!!

Brilliant find after the first pub we visited stopped serving food at 6pm. Freshly cooked traditional food and friendly welcoming staff. Definitely will return next we are this way.

Just moved to the area and saw that this place has some good ratings. I can see why! Food was lovely - home cooked and big portions. We've booked for Sunday on the back of our first visit. Staff are super friendly! Good beer too!

Great little pub and good food

Booked in for a meal for 6 with 2 hours notice on a Saturdy night. Received excellent service from a welcoming host. Food was good wholesome cooked and prepared on the premises by the owner. His nephew the bar manager kept our drinks flowing. A very enjoyable evening. Thankyou

Went to the Friary Arms on Sunday after short notice. Had the best steak and ale pie ever. Absolutely load's of meat and pastry top and bottom. Yummy

Annoyingly only been here recently with lockdown restrictions in place, which are adhered to correctly throughout the pub. The staff are very friendly and welcoming. Prices are standard for any non-chain pub, and the food is wonderful. I have been told by friends that the pub has a great atmosphere when in full swing, and I can't wait to visit for this. Overall great little pub.
