Hakka in Arun

This is not Chinese food. The food is over sweetened regardless of the dish. The quality is variable. Ordered two chicken curries - one was the right consistency, the other was like water. Both tasted nothing like Chinese curry. Won’t be ordering again

We ordered for the first time last night. The food was at best bland. It was not cheap, and they charged for delivery. Won't be ordering again. I'd rather make a sandwich here.

Ordered from this restaurant, there was bones in my chicken and our drinks never arrived , called them twice and the person on the phone kept saying that they were on their way with our drinks , 3 hours went by and no one turned up with our drinks , so they lied .

Tried lots of different Chinese’s but none of them come close to Hakka, this place is unreal. Food always arrives hot and taste amazing.The customer service is great! Would definitely recommend!

Ordered here today at 6.55 pm was quoted to be delivered by 7.55 pm which is understandable with the bad weather and being busy. I paid the usual £3.50 delivery plus 50p service charge which I was okay with as ive never had an issue. Always delivered on time or early and piping hot. Today it got to 8.05 pm and still no delivery so I called up and was told its out for delivery...8.25 pm still nothing, was told 10 mins. At 8.40 pm it came stone cold, the sauce had congealed and was barely eatable. No apology...nothing...

Ordered for the first time using FoodHub instead of Just Eat and discovered this place.Was really impressed by the overall flavours. The crispy shredded beef/chicken was crispy and very flavoursome. Not all saucy, soggy and chewy like some other Chinese takeaways.Both sets of noodles were also full of flavour and still hot on arrival.I shall definitely order from this restaurant again.

Used to be fantastic but the last order was dreadful. All chicken dishes were dry, tough and stringy, the curry sauce thin as water and delivered cold. Seriously one of the worst takeaways I've ever had especially at the prices they charge. Unlikely to be returning.

Food was actually pretty good despite having to be left in the oven to keep warm for a couple of hours. We pre ordered for delivery at 7.30pm but it arrived at 5.15! Please take note ofrequedted delivery times in future.

Ordered via their website this evening (Friday), chicken balls, egg fried rice, honey lemon chicken, chilly shredded beef and pork chow mien. Can not fault this place it was fantastic, delivery was great, the chicken in the balls was even seasoned. The shredded beef was so crispy it was divine, and the pork noodles were sublime. No idea why there are negative reviews on here. Even the sweet and sour sauce was well balanced. I’d recommend all these dishes, maybe ask for a little extra lemon sauce as it’s super tasty, but no complaints here. Will definitely be ordering again.
