Nice local pub, reasonably priced food with friendly staff. Only negative was the smell from the fryer coming into the bar area.

This is a lovely proper pub with well kept Sussex ale and an amazing and varied food menu that caters well for vegetarians/vegans. They also looked after us really well for my dad's wake. Thanks Emma, Vernon and the team.

Really friendly staff and atmosphere. Food was reasonably priced, nice size portions and utterly delicious! First time there but eager to go back so hoping the lovely meals we enjoyed last night weren't a one off!

3 of us had the Sunday roast beef and pork, with all the trimmings and dessert, rolli polli with custard. Friendly staff, had a lovely time, good pints. Just a really nice time. Thank you Gareth, top job.
