Motte & Bailey really doesn't get the reputation or reviews it deserves. Lunch is sterling. Dinner however is excellent! Their Tapas is first class. I cannot recommend highly enough. Thai time and Motte & Bailey are the best restaurant's Arundel has to offer. If you visit- the fishcakes and ham/ cheese croquettes are absolutely to die for! Great waiting staff too!

The best egg Benedict anywhere in the world!! There is a small fresh menu with a few specials every day. The staff are really friendly and helpful. The salads are so nice, fresh and interesting, not the usual sorry leaves as a garnish. Kids, babies and dogs welcome.

Fantastic food as ever been a few times now tapas is great nothing on the menu you will not love.Pork is something else....Staff are always so accommodating and attentive.Definitely be back soon.

Cute little cafe with very quick turn around on food but did not feel pressured at all. Which was good as they don't take walk ins. Will definitely go again when in the area.

Lovely position on the High street. Scrumptious porridge. Eggs Benedict glorious.

Lovely place for lunch, very friendly service. Chicken burger and eggs Benedict were tasty. Recommended.Lucie, if you're reading this - thank you for the service!

A first visit to this nice eatery in picturesque Arundel. We were fortunate to arrive just in time for the last empty table and we quickly realised why the place was so busy. We enjoyed our choices from the menu and the coffee was of a high standard. We will certainly be back.

Excellent cafe situated in the centre of Arundel.Cheerful, welcoming staff (always makes a difference...)Enjoyed a great full English breakfast and latte.

Fantastic little tea-room!!Came across it by chance. My fiancée had the cream tea and I had the savoury cream tea.Cream tea consists of a plain scone with clotted cream and raspberry jam. Savoury cream tea consisted of a really superb wholemeal cheese scone with cream cheese and an onion chutney. Really, really first rate !!The scones were home-made and fresh and lovely. My fiancée had coffee and I had a coke because I'm allergic to tea and coffee.Thank you ever so much for accommodating my needs...Will we be back? Oh yes!

Lovely place to get quality freshly cooked food, the staff are always friendly and efficient.Be prepared to wait, as always busy - but definitely worth it.Located on the main Street in Arundel, which in its own right is a stunning place to visit, with the castle and cathedral. From breakfast to brunch and lunch and then tapas in the evening - something for everyone.
