Quiet at the time we went, lunch on a Thursday in June. We took advantage of the WiFi and also had some lunch.Pea and pesto soup was a rather strange combination and although it was tasty I was a bit bored by the time I got to the end of the bowl. The ciabatta served with it was dry and tough...seemed stale. On the other hand my husband's cheese ploughman's was a huge plate full of sales, pickles and cheese and he thoroughly enjoyed it - except for the same stale ciabbatta!Good beer on tap. 🍻

Amazing Sunday Lunch! The quality and taste was great and portions large :) Quick service. Staff are very friendly and helpful. Pub stretches back so much large than it looks from the front. Would recommend booking, we managed to get in without booking and I am sure the staff would find you a spot but if you don’t want to be disappointed you can book.

The Young man that served us was so graceful and eager to serve.Did not have to wait too long as this pub is very popular and busy.Just one criticismThe lady with the long strait black hair is in need of a refresher course on customer care, I felt her response to a very small issue abrupt and personal.

Our first pick for lunch whenever we're in Arundel. Good choice of food and it's always really yummy. Plus, we were a bit late for lunch today but the kitchen was still open😀

Just had the most tasty lamb and Stilton pie I've ever had, actually best pie ever! And we also ordered a very wholesome haddock and chips. Can throughly recommend a great meal and atmosphere. Staff very friendly too.

The Red Lion is the typical English pub where everyone feels welcome. Great food, enormous desserts and I love the fact that they have tons of live music events. It was my base and comfort place to go to. I'll go back for sure !

Such a lovely lunch on the terrace for a treat for "the day before Mother's Day". Can't celebrate on the day but the atmosphere was lovely in the sunshine and my Moules a la crème were delicious our young waiter was very nice and helpful. Definitely go again.

We met as a group from all over West Sussex. Super accommodating with friendly staff and the food! It was so tasty and well-priced. And it came out quickly. Not ideal to park so turn up early if you're not familiar with the area (as we weren't) or research where to park beforehand but as a pub, no complaints here. We ordered almost everything from the menu between us and we all loved it all.
