I didn't enjoy the fish (haddock ) at all . It tasted as though had been either refrozen a few times and reheated or cooked in a microwave. Not fresh tasting or fluffy like you would expect from a chippy. Chips were OK, no complaints there. Won't be returning, particularly for the price paid which didn't reflect the quality.

Fish was lovely. Chips were OK. A bit dry.

Always use this place for 7 years my dad 25 yrs best fish n chips in the area just brilliant. Call n pick up this past year . Highly recommended ❤️

Popped in on way back from work. Used to use this place occasionally, notice the price has gone up a fair bit, but so has everything, what I would say is the staff mostly younger girls need listen when an orders placed. Cod and chips. Salt and vinagar please.....got home no salt no vinager and the chips where nothing to write home about either. For £7.50 I would at least expect get what I asked for. I had no vinagar at home so went without. Annoying really.... especially as the lady asked me.and I said yes please.....

Definitely the best fish and chip shop in town we have never had a bad meal here would highly recommend this fish & chip shop

Well, this is the Medium Cod I received last night... had I opened the box before I got home I would have asked for a refund. Or asked if this was a kids meal!

Best Fish and Chips in the area. Freshly cooked to perfection in my opinion. When visiting the area ( from Southampton ) we always drop in for Haddock and chips. Well worth the visit . Did not have to wait long. 😎

Like the majority of reviews, the cod was beautifully cooked and the chips were good and plentiful. However to wait over 50 minutes for them to be cooked is absolutely unbelievable! I appreciate that telephone orders take precedence but I tried calling 18 times and the line was constantly busy. Luckily it wasn’t raining but standing outside in the cold for that amount of time wasn’t great!

This place is great! Hadn't had fish and chips for ages as was always so disappointed with other locations.Tried this place and it was easily the best I'd had (that I can remember!) Fish was nicely cooked, batter fresh, and just the right amount of crunch.Chips crisp and fresh - not soggy.Perfect.
