Shafiques of Angmering in Arun

Enjoyed a first class takeaway from Shafiques last night. The chicken dhansak, pilau rice, onion bhajis & peshwari naan were superb. Can't wait for the next one. Very impressed.

Chicken Tikka Dansak cold and more oil that sauce. Special rice not very nice. I wouldn’t bother.

70 minute wait to see this, £4 for a chicken tikka cheese naan with no chicken and also stone cold.Both went straight to the bin.Only reason it's not a 1 star is the Mrs said the Jalfreizi wasn't that bad.

Unfortunately I had a bad experience with Shafiques. Our regular Indian was shut so we decided to try another local Indian takeaway, price was a bit steeper than I would have expected but the majority of reviews were positive.To sum it up briefly after my waffling;Portions were small (especially compared to the price),Food was mediocre at best,Items were missing on delivery,Delivery took almost an hour (whilst it stated it would take 30min)So I won't be trying again, I hope that this was just a fluke but I wont risk that.

Shafiques serves the best curry in the area, the menu is extensive with a wide variety of classic dishes. Catering for vegan and GF. With the freshest ingredients and wise choice of food.The quality is second to none, customer service fantastic.They offer a delivery service, all the drivers are presentable and friendly.I would highly recommend Shafiques as an outstanding curry house.They always go the extra mile to accommodate your dietary requirements.

Had the most delicious curry for our anniversary celebration. It was fresh, hot and very promptly delivered by charming delivery driver even though it was Saturday night and obviously very busyWe will order again. Thankyou for making our evening so special.

Told 45 to 50 mins for delivery and that if they could get it out sooner they would, after 90 mins we called to chase up (we had ordered based on delivery times as we're already late eating and have a baby) and were very bluntly told it would be less than 5 mins, after 10 mins my husband called up to check on the delivery drivers car as thought maybe they had been lost and driving around, turned out the driver hadn't even left as he asked him whilst we were in the phone!!!! After catching them out on their lies my husband was ofcourse quite frustrated and reiterated the fact it had been 90 mins and that we had been told 45 to which the guy very rudely started ranting that its "f#@king Saturday what do you expect, if it takes 90 mins it takes 90 mins" and all we got was that the guy earlier was wrong "what do you want, discount?" all we wanted was our food!!! - especially after reading such great reviews, but by this point safe to say my husband told the guy what to do with his food! Don't know what the food tastes like as never got it!! DO NOT RECOMMEND!! APALLING Customer service and complaint management, such a shame as Goring are fantastic!

10/10 best curry we've ever had! Tried Shafiques after being unable to get through to our usual curry house. Will definitely be ordering from here every time now.

It's good, very good. Succulent chicken, full flavour from all dishes and subtle touches in others. There were some small issues but really, this is one of the best takeaways in the area.

Had a lovely takeaway was full of flavour and piping hot. The chicken tandoori was succulent and my son said his korma was amazing only downside the raitha was unnaturally green and a tad runny tasted ok tho .
