"The Tajdar is the latest venture in Abdul Monon's cuisine empire. Abdul has more than 35-40 years experience owning and running of successful Indian restaurants. Tajdar was a new challenge. We wanted to create something original - the restaurant is like no other Indian you'll find anywhere; we bring a unique and fresh approach the world of Indian food. Nearly every item on our menu has its own unqiue twist and fresh blend to give the world something new. Our dishes are meant to be exquisite and tantalisingly challenging for the taste buds, while at the same time being highly engrossive and addictive to keep our customers coming back."

Excellent food, great tastes, well presented. Wish we were locals and not just on our holidays

·

Really good food, I have been going there for years, never let me down on quality....

·

Nothing better than having a good curry restaurant within walking distance. And the delivered takeaways just as good too!

·

I love this Curry house as it is the only one in the village, but in fairness it's very tasty and friendly.

Located in Findon Village West Sussex (car park hidden at the back).Nice restaurant, with plenty of choice - Vegan, Vegetarian, Pescatarian & Carnivore. Not sure if it was just a Pandemic Thursday night but very quiet , although the online Table booking system said there were no tables available. 🤔Started with King Prawn 🍤 Bhlee Purée which was absolutely delicious and The Tajdar Spicy Lamb which again was lovely, however, when they say Spicy they really mean SPICY 🔥 🔥 with the Raita from the poppadoms it helped to cool it down a bit.The mains were great a Chicken Dupiaza and a Tajdar Special of Chatga Prawns - 👍 for both, with a Saag Aloo, Mushroom Bhaji and a Keema Naan, rice comes separate but 1 portion was enough - we didn't manage to finish, there was plenty of food😋.Unfortunately the service was a bit all over the place, we were quickly seated to a seat of our choice (it was that quiet) and drinks and poppadoms with dips ordered, the drinks arrived followed by the poppadoms, and after a period of time we had to ask for the dips.Fresh cutlery arrived for the main but was set with the knife on the left, no big deal, plates arrived with the main course, my plate was placed first - should have been my partner's first, main course and sides were placed on the table - although we had to sort the space out for the naan & rice, both our glasses were empty and we had to stop the waiter to ask for drinks. We were asked if the food was ok a couple of times but again when we had finished the table was cleared and we never saw a waiter again, to the degree we had to go to reception to get our bill and pay. So nothing horrendous, but just a few things that could be easily corrected - if it had been busy you could accept it a bit, but with only 3 other tables 🤨. But don't avoid the food is good👍

10/11/2020. Tonight very disapointed with the food. Plenty of it, but very bland no flavour, also very cold, had to microwave meal. Delivery was over half hour late. Had a tip ready for driver but not even an appologie from him. Best thing about whole experience tonight was I saved my £2.00 tip. Tony

Very welcoming and friendly atmosphere. Great selection of curries including some very interesting looking specials. Food was very good and flavoursome without being too heavy or greasy in the way some places can be. My brother and I had poppadoms, a curry each, 2 soft drinks each, a naan, rice, and one side dish and it came to a pretty reasonable £50.

Tend to visit this curry house a couple of times a year when visiting family. Last time we went the food was really good, with some alternative chef's specials. Service was perhaps a little slow as I believe they have a high turn-over of local deliveries, but can't fault the food.
