Have regularly used this restaurant in the past and been very happy, this evening however was a different story.... the meal was not very hot at all and when we told the staff (who I might add were dressed in sliders, socks and sweatshirt???) didn't seem interested at all and basically told us we were wrong as it had been kept warm on hot plates in the kitchen. No offer of apology or acknowledgement, then when trying to pay was told cash only, and not at any point on booking were we advised this to be the case and so were not particularly prepared for it.Not a great way to spend my Mum's birthday - will not be returning!Oh and it appeared that people on another table were not happy for some reason too...

Partner and I decided to take his family out for a curry and decided to come here as never been before. The food was nice, the staff were overall good but it wasnt busy so hovered around us alot apart from that it was good.We then decided to go a couple days later as well and took my partners mum. We were served by a lovely young man. The older man and the young lady were shouting very loudly across the restraunt to each other whilst we were eating witch wasn't the nicest to hear. The food was OK this time but chicken was chewy so didn't eat it. We finished and was presented with the Bill without being offered desert or washing hand cloths like we was given last time. One last thing that I I thought was a little rude was we were asked to leave a tip instead of us choosing to or not.

Really good food, just the right kind of spicy! Lovely staff and a pleasant atmosphere. I'll definitely be going back. Reasonably priced too.

It's a personal thing. I only do 5 star reviews. They are for exceptional service, or friendly staff who do a good job. If they don't make five stars they are just ordinary and not likely to change. I'm not likely to go back and see little point in commenting. If they are really bad I tell them and don't go back.Tandoori Nights gets 5 Stars for a number of reasons. The food is good, the service pleasant and the prices reasonable. They also offer a good take-away/delivery service . They are our go-to restaurant for Indian food.
