We had a great evening. All of the food that our group had was tasty and well cooked. The views are so good as well. We changed our plans and booked this at the lady minute, we were all glad that we did. We'll definitely be back

My wife said 'it was the best meal she had had in a long time' and I found it very good. We do not usually manage 3 courses but this was worth the effort. The dining areas have very nice views over the adjacent golf course and have a very good ambiance. It was a relaxing evening with good service. My only reservation was the price of the beer/lager we had. Definitely visit again.

We visited for dinner as we were staying nearby (Avisford Park Hotel) and The Black Horse was just a short walk away. We were sat in the main bar area which is very clean and up to date but does not have the countryside views that you would get from the conservatory area.Selection of food was very good (particularly the vegetarian menu which my wife was very impressed with) and the quality was superb. A good selection of drinks and friendly staff.I'd recommend.

Beautiful pub in the country, but very expensive for what you got, no kids menu £25 for a child is far to much! Service was OK, not somewhere I'd rush back to.

Great food & great service....really enjoyed all the friendly waiting staff. The young girl taking our orders (sorry didn't get her name but she'll know after reading the next bit 😊😂 !!) was amazing & I was so happy she said I could have the cappuccino ice-cream on it's own as a sweet !! xx

I haven't been back here for roughly 6 years or so. Although in a quiet area it was quite busy today. I don't get to come to The Black Horse that often to eat or drink. It's also very well decorated during Christmas which gives a very warm and welcoming atmosphere.

Brilliant meal, the sticky toffee pudding was excellent. Staff where great, except for the fact they didn't allow a 19 a beer with a meal, contrary to UK law. For that I believe four stars should be given.

Great pub in a beautiful location (choose a back of pub window table for views across the valley/ golf course).Food and service excellent!Highly recommended.
