We were staying in the adjacent village of Wepham so had pre booked a table. We were greeted by a very friendly waitress and shown to our table. The menu was not extensive but something on there to suit everyone I would imagine. We both ordered the burgers which were amazing. Cooked to perfection with a generous portion of fries. Drinks were average price. We will return if in the area.

Great food and serv8ce in a lovely setting. Booking essential as is getting there early as the car park gets full quickly.

·

Wonderful place, and wonderful reasonably priced food. Unfortunately lose one star because 2 of the 3 waitresses who served us seemed disinterested and hardly smiled.

This was just fabulous! We will be dreaming of the sticky toffee pudding and the baked cheese cake for a long long time.

Outstanding food, service and pub is gorgeous. Bonus...Nala the cat!

Just come back from having dinner and still in a daze about the excellence of both the food & the service! Admittedly It was a quiet week day... But every thing was good. Two of us had the venison cannelloni which was outstanding as was the sea bream with herb crust. And the sticky Toffee pudding with ginger ice-cream was best ever! The assistant manager was on her own but she couldn't have been more pleasant or friendly. We're thinking of going back on Sunday - if we can get in!

Lovely welcoming pub in beautiful location. Lunch there today was absolutely delicious. Great menu. Portion sizes perfect. Can't wait to visit again.

Very appealing looking place, which was heaving outside on a cold winters day (including Morris dancing) and I feared we'd made a poor choice, but upon entering it was calm, friendly, cosy and welcoming. Staff were attentive, knowledgeable, and chatty without being too informal. Would happily return.

Awesome quality food, beautifully presented, with courteous, friendly staff. Added bonus, it's dog friendly!Off the beaten track but a great stopping place for walkers

A very pleasant surprise. We booked for our anniversary on the strength of two recommendations on Facebook and we were most definitely not disappointed. The pub is in one of the prettiest chocolate box villages I have ever seen, and the setting with the sun ( yes, it came out!) getting low, was idyllic.Greeted with a smile as soon as we walked in, the staff were organised, efficient, professional and friendly, and very Covid aware. The food came quickly, was presented beautifully, and tasted delicious. We had a very good bottle of Chilean red to accompany our various dishes. The desserts did themselves justice too. Will definitely return and recommend strongly.
