The Spotted Cow in Arun

Had a pleasant family meal for 10 for Mum's birthday. Service was polite and unhurried, bordering on a touch slow, but we weren't in a rush.Food was OK, I wouldn't say it was great value for money but I couldn't call it vastly overpriced either.For me the highlight, for value and flavour, was the entree of bread and olives.But I'm odd.

Brilliant little pub. Great food & very friendly staff. Dog friendly too . . . Harry the dog was given something soft to sit on the floor & sausages to eat. Definitely recommend!!!

After a long Coronavirus type absence it was good to visit the Cow again. Same ol' friendly snug bar with log burner, same pleasant barman and same excellent condition ale. The only downside was to note how close the extensive development is inching closer to the garden (which used to have a view).

The staff were very friendly and food was well cooked just not very exciting n limited menu. The chicken and bacon pie was lovely but just came with peas n mash not v interesting. Would have been nice to have an assortment of veg and choice of potato. The restaurant is lovely and wasn't too crowded when we went.

Have just come back from The Spotted Cow having enjoyed a lovely relaxed evening with some delicious food. All the food was fresh and hot and beautifully cooked. And we came away feeling replete. The waitresses worked hard, making sure we had everything we needed for a great meal. Booking is essential to guarantee a table.

Such a great pub! We were in the area out of town and looked up a good dog friendly pub for some dinner and this one came up! The staff were all really friendly and served us food and drinks even though we were near the end of food serving time! The food was really nice and they have a great selection of beers! Would highly recommend and will definitely return when in the area!

Great place, good pub grub - especially the sticky toffee pudding 😉, amazing staff and atmosphere... All that you need x. Also a wonderful array of spotted cows - many of which have been given to them by their lovely customers 😂🐮😘

This pub is just great. Make your way to a table, take a seat and you will be met with a smile from the pub owner and your order will be taken. Fast, friendly and the ales were great. If there is no seating room at the front, wonder around the back and there are plenty of seats available. COVID table service applied at the time of visit.

Fantastic - no issues with us parking our MH overnight. Sadly we missed food but had a couple of drinks. If you are in the area give it a try, we will be back next time we are down that way

Sunday lunch here. Service very slow. Bangers and mash good. Fish and chips poor (fish tasteless, which is not acceptable so close to the coast). Dessert was slow to arrive along with an apology which wasn’t sincere. Overall service was just too excruciating slow for more than a two star experience.
