Out for a drive and stopped to ask for directions. Regulars and staff were very helpful and friendly and gave us directions. Will drop in later on in the week to have a meal.Thank you to all.

We found this hidden gem today! Absolutely beautiful food, great service, nice people & the menu was brilliant with lots of choice. Dog friendly and a lovely beer garden. Highly recommend & will be back.

Friendly staff, traditional menu but with some great specials and quick service. Most enjoyable.

Old fashioned pub with proper pub meals and good service. Homemade pie was amazing (choice of 4 fillings, I had chicken) and everything was hot and fresh. 2 beers, 2 starters and 2 mains came in at £50. No complaints here, will be back.

Had lunch there, it was full, always book, you might not get a table. We took our dog with us, we sat in a very bleak area of the pub, which is soon going to be refurbished, thank god because it was awful. The meals were super, very tasty and very hot. Drinks all good too.If there is a moan and why I only liked it there, is because we have been a few times now, and the staff seem very unfriendly and don't seem too keen to make people feel welcome, unless I noticed you were regularly in there and then they chatted away, ie the older men who sat in the bar area...probably regulars.Big up to one member of staff who was a young man two tone hair who bought out our food, he was lovely, and smiled and chatted a little bit more to us..Hey ho..I would still recommend the pub, which BTW is very nice on a warm/hot day and you can sit in the garden.Dog friendly 🐾

Best food we've had in ages!! Everything fresh and home made.The pies and chunky chips are delicious and the icecream so worth tryimg! welcoming friendly staff . Cosy atmosphere. Dog friendly.

The garlic mushrooms were the best I've ever had. And the pie is what a pie is ment to be. full of filling and flavor, husband had the steak pie and I had the minted lamb.Meat was beautiful tender and not fatty at allWell done 😁

Fantastic service and fantastic food, really enjoyed that everything we ordered was handmade by the owners, a family run pub which gave the food so much taste also keeping with the traditional food made it feel almost at home. Really enjoyed it thank you and would glad to call in again.😋😋👍
