The Street Fish Bar in Arun

Just had fish and chips the price has jumped up a lot for smaller fish and wafer thin it used to be nice and thick . and it’s over cooked as it is so thin and very very greasy .i have been there before and was lovely but the last time before this it was like today but through maybe a one off so tried today but it was horrible will not be going back there again

Good place. Good fish. Not greasy at all and very friendly people. Highly recommend.

The food was lovely, especially the battered sausage. Can't wait for my next trip down!

Was ok, seemed slightly expensive for what you got. Chips were nice n hot if a little underwhelming.

New owners since February are doing much better than the previous ones. We will be back for more!

Really friendly owners, premises are spotlessly clean and welcoming. Also the best chips around here. Highly recommended.

Very tasty food -reasonably priced -will go again. Steak and kidney pie was lovely.

Crispy rolls had no filling, fish was poor and soggy batter stuck to the paper, only reason for 2 stars is the chips were OK. Not a quality fish bar

Ordered small cod and chips which were nice, the bigger issue was having to wait almost 30mins for them. I don't mind waiting a bit for food but the place was empty when I went in and then they just seemed to prioritize online orders over the people waiting inside as more people turned up and had to wait until the delivery drivers picked up their orders first. Not a great first visit.

Unfortunately, what once served the best fish and chips in the area now serve the worst! Absolutely dreadful cod and chips last night. Crispy burnt cod and old fat tasting chips! A real shame after all the good work of the previous owner......
