Stayed here for one night with my partner the room was modern comfortable and clean with everything you need the only problem I had was I was meant to have a river view and didn't get one and the air conditioning broke down and didn't work until the next morning it was so hot but the staff provided us with a fan. The food in the bar was nice and all the staff were helpful and friendly. The adult spa facilities were nice and it wasn't too busy so I felt I could relax properly. We had breakfast in our room which I couldn't fault at all. Overall I enjoyed my stay and would definitely stay again.

Great stay, absolutely stunning building and location. The reception staff were excellent, really attentive and friendly. Only slight criticism is that the pool closes at 8 on Saturdays rather than 9, which would be good except it's only adults only from 7pm, if you're after a bit of down time without children running around you might be better staying on a week night when facilities are open a little later, but then we usually stay in adult only hotels. Overall a lovely hotel, lovingly decorated and maintained.

Had a lovely stay, really nice new spa in the adults area. Food was amazing.. recommend the ham hock to start and the sharing chateaubriand for main... Washed down with wine and cocktails.. stuffed..Also they made the effort to create other cocktails that wasn't on the menu. The service was exceptional and great location and scenery. Would recommend for a short relaxing break.

Stunning location! This was bought as a gift so we didn’t know what to expect. We were lucky to arrive on a crisp blue skies day. The hotel is easily accessible and free parking. The new extension which included a second spa and rooms were available to us. This has been done to a very high standard. The room was contemporary with modern accessories. We enjoyed the spa and wish we could of had longer. The treatments however are pricey and for usual spa and treatment couple we were put off.Bar and restaurant staff were attentive, friendly and the food was delicious (also large portions)We like the different rooms in the original part of the hotel, it meant you can get your drinks and choose your level or atmosphere. Our only negative is the garden room (222) is situated above the spa area. This made the room very warm at night.

The most relaxing and perfect stay! We had a room looking over the river with beautiful interiors and a relaxed feel to it. We booked for the thermal spa which was very therapeutic, I just wished I have booked in for a massage too as the therapy Rooms and offerings seemed amazing. You can get drinks from the bar to bring into the spa which was also really enjoyable and luxury products to use when you shower! Staff were very attentive and friendly in all areas of the business!Perfect stay thank you!

We stayed at this Hotel this weekend and it was absolutely wonderful. The staff were so friendly, the food was brilliant and nothing was ever too much trouble for the staff at the hotel. It was lovely to see that the hotel was so accommodating to all of its guests. The room was fantastic and kept well maintained. I would recommend staying here!

We had a "lovely room" at the front of the hotel and it was lovely. We made use of the free pool with sauna, steam room and jacuzzi. We ate at the hotel and the food was good quality. We liked the quirkiness of the numerous rooms with sofa's and chairs and interconnecting doors and several doors with stairs leading to upper floors. It was nice to see a free pool table that was popular with both guests. Children playing pool and board games, not a phone in sight!! It was lovely seeing dogs and one cat with their owners and we'll behaved. Staff were all friendly and polite even though they were kept busy. We live 20 minutes away from this hotel and visited several times in the past but this is the 1st time we've stayed the night. The new spa area that's opening soon looks fantastic, can't wait to use it. We will be staying again soon!!

Lovely quick visit for brunch on the way through this morning. Welcoming staff and efficient service. We just had coffees, hot chocolate and a couple of bacon baps before the chef stopped breakfast service at 11am. We couldn’t have been happier. We will definitely pop by for longer another time.

The new spa is lovely. Visited on their “first proper day” as they told me. Had a massage from a lovely lady called Shelby. The techniques are really unusual and relaxing. Can’t speak for the hotel itself as I stayed elsewhere, but would recommend the spa.

Spent yesterday and stayed over last night. What a lovely time we had right from the start. Arrived an hour early and we were firstly having afternoon tea. We were greeted with smiles and it was no problem we were early. We were seated by the fire and ordered a bottle of red wine while we were waiting. The afternoon tea was yummy with a lovely choice of sandwiches and cakes. We then checked in to a beautiful room which was spotless. Our treatments at the spa were the best I have ever had and want to personally thank Jody for the amazing massage. The visit to the pool, sauna, steam room and jacuzzi finished our relaxation off nicely. The staff and food in the evening were perfect. Everybody is so friendly and kind, nothing is too much trouble. We can’t wait to visit again very soon.
