Great little find ! Lovely food & friendly service

We visited The Village Store one afternoon after a long wet walk in the hills with our dog for lunch. It’s an absolute gem and we’d love to go back when we’re next in the area. The food was delicious and the staff were really friendly and attentive. Service was quick and it was a very comfortable atmosphere. The prices were also very reasonable. Loved it!

My partner and I have been here a few times before but today we came with my sister and nephew for the first time. The service was outstanding and they couldn't have done more for my 4 year old nephew!Food was lovely and the chocolate fudge cake is super yummy. We can't wait to return. Thank you all 😊

Genuinely top quality service and food. We were looked after superbly by Craig, Bex and the rest of the team. We particularly love how "neighbourhood friendly" it is, dog friendly is also really important to us. They've taken a Village Store and turned it into the heart of a community serving a great menu of food with relaxed, personable service. Would highly recommend. :)

Lovely brunch at the Village Store today for a friend’s birthday. A group of us arrived soaking wet from a walk in the rain. Great food and Rochelle was a delight - so welcoming and she was so funny; lovely girl. Will definitely be back!

Been three times now, each time had an amazing time. Craig is absolutely amazing, he remembered my sons name, what sports he likes and really made his day.He has since asked to come back numerous times and even memories jokes to tell Craig for out next visit, this has become our regular and will definitely be returning.Craig is an asset to the establishment, the other staff were also lovely and extremely welcoming.

Lovely place with great food. Popped in with a colleague for lunch and we weren't disappointed. The service was great, friendly and fast. I had the blackened chicken burger and it had just the right amount of bite. My colleague had the small breakfast and said that was lovely too. Will definitely be going back.

Had the most amazing afternoon at the village store. Christmas lunch was incredible, the cocktails too but it was Craig and all the staff who made our family meal experience so incredible. Thank you we’ll be back ❤️🎄👌🏽

My daughter had a birthday meal with her friends here.She loves this place. Always happy to accommodate fussy kids, friendly service and decent food at a good price.Also good for us adults with a good atmosphere and dog friendly if you want your left overs polishing off.Big shout out for Brooke - super helpful, friendly and a big smile for the customers.Pleasure to eat here

Absolutely fantastic!, Came here for lunch after it was recommended by a work colleague, did a lovely walk from home in Haslingden, had a fantastic lunch and great stroll back. You can sit indoors or outdoors and being sat outdoors was wonderful, almost felt like being abroad. I has the Steak, red onion and brie ciabatta and the wife had steak and eggs, both were fantastic and almost tastes wood oven cooked ??. Staff were really polite and helpful and it was extremely easy to book a time online before went, was literally two clicks . Will definitely be returning with family and friends and may even let the kids try the pizzas if they are lucky !
