Excellent food and great service. Friendly staff. Beautiful view and great price for all 4 of us. We had 4 meals for less than ÂŁ40 which I found great value. Beautiful view.

We were in Arundel and wanted a quick basic lunch rather than a full sit down service indoors. We sat outside by the river which was lovely. Waitresses were prompt and polite. We both had a sandwich and a drink. Sandwiches were good value with plenty of filling and accompanied by a salad and a few crisps. They have an alcohol licence if you would like an alcoholic beverage.

We love coming here - great setting by the relaxing river, lovely staff - we love the owner Sharon. Always so welcoming and chats to us. Food is tasty and service is quick. Our favourite cafe in Arundel!

They were supposed to shut early today, but staff let us in anyway. Gorgeous big pieces of homemade cake (Lemon, Victoria sponge & Coffee and walnut). Lovely chatty staff. Well worth a visit.

Lovely spot next to the river Arun. Was really busy when we came here for lunch so the service was a little slow. However, the food was good so worth the wait. Would recommend a visit

We visited yesterday on Sunday, table number 7, I gotta say for a simple English breakfast it was brilliant, the chocolate milkshake was very nice and my mate said it was one of the nicest chicken burgers she’s ever had. The view of the river and castle topped it off, adding a boat hire within the cafe is also a really clever idea to upper the company profits. Shame there was only two of us though so we couldn’t pay the £50. One thing I’d say is you should get more sauce options like tar tar, bbq or Mayo (you may already had these but I didn’t see them on the day)

Lovely location, beside the river and then the castle behind. Excellent customer service, staff very approachable and friendly and this makes their customers feel at ease. The food, even though we had the english breakfast, was good quality and tasted delicious!!

Absolutely delightful Café with lovely staff/owners (?). Second time I have been here (would come more often but live far away) and today's experience was as wonderful as the first. Lovely, tasty selection we had (pâté ploughman, scampi and fries (very good chips) and crab salad), all for a great price! As some have commented here, you may find the service a little slower than you were expecting...but that didn't bother my wife and I at all (although it did my Father, but then, sadly, that has a lot to do with his dementia). We spent the time enjoying the view and relaxing! It also has a lovely location - right next to the river and at the bottom end of the castle - and so one would sadly expect over-priced, mediocre, food at a location like this. But this is not the case here at all! Thoroughly recommend 👍👍

Lovely little cafe to stop and have lunch before or after a visit to Arundel Castle.Huge scone really tasty and great value for money, and other half enjoyed a fish finger sandwich, huge fishfingers and really nice bread. Slightly disappointed if they didn't have any lemonade to go with a gin but opted for a small wine instead. Really relaxed atmosphere and you can even rent a motorboat if you so wish!

Nice location by the river. Plenty of outdoor seating most of which has some form of cover such as umbrellas. It was mildly busy but the service was efficient. Covid measures were comprehensive including the laminated menus being cleaned before each use. I had the fish finger sandwich. The fish fingers were larger than usual and properly cooked. I had a flat white coffee which was ok but if coffee is important to you, I'd get one elsewhere. Overall, very pleased with the lunch, the service and the location.
