The White Hart in Arun

This is the place to be on sunny days. We had a delicious lunch on the deck outside overlooking the river. It's quiet with a relaxed atmosphere. Service was a bit on the slow side, but ultimately that didn't bother us because it was just a very pleasant and relaxed experience with great food.

Found this lovely little place on our walk today. Ridden past, many a time on the bike, without realising it was there! Popped in for a bite to sustain ourselves and unfortunately they were inbetween services so no food 😫 (except packet of crisps 😁)However beer was good, welcome was hospitable, so think we might be going back some time soon.Location is right next to an old medieval bridge; so beer, history and great beer garden, what more could you want 👍

Popped in for lunch today and it was fantastic. It's only my second visit but I love the place already. The put itself is stunning - paired with a lovely outside seating area with a stunning view and great staff, you really can't ask for anything else! Will definitely be coming back for more!!

Lovely friendly staff, food incredibly good and fast! Garden could do with some attention

Lovely riverside seating area, great menu with local beers and table service. We opted for the fish sharing platter which included smoked salmon, whitebait, crayfish tails, artichokes, salad leaves, bread and sauce. Delicious and good value for money.

Had a lovely lunch on a slight detour from London. I want to say his name was James but was a great waiter and worked hard. Lovely seating next to the river and the fish platter is very much well worth recommending.

I love this pub. We have visited in the summer and eaten outside on the terrace after kayaking. Today we tried Sunday lunch here for the first time. Wow ...the food was incredible, presentation was amazing and service fantastic. I can honestly say this pub has the wow factor I will definitely be back. A beautiful pub with a beautiful setting.

Charming staff, great location stopped here on my bike for a swift one whilst cycling around Sussex. Fantastic.

This pub/restaurant is seriously great. The front of house is warm and welcoming.The food is on another level. The menu changes throughout the year and the chef uses fresh seasonal ingredients to make the most lovely food. Top level cookery at a reasonable price from a chef who really knows what they are doing!This place is truly a hidden gem. Yes it has a lovely outside area with a nice view of the river which is great in the warmer weather. But the real star of the show is the food which is amazing throughout the year!I look forward to eating here many more times.

Beautifully located pub by the river and away from residential area in a perfect setting. A pub you could visit during the day and evening. Super friendly staff including the owners. Definitely going back for their mouth watering BBQ and their bespoke Goan curry cuisine.
