Trawlers in Arun

A very friendly well run pub. They had a local band on and it was busy. But the staff coped extremely well and everyone got served promptly and with a smile. We have visited previously and had a meal - Sunday lunch is great.

Definitely recommend this pub.The steak and Ale pie I had was absolutely wonderful, 4 veg, chips and the pie, loads of steak chunks, plenty of gravy and a lovely taste of the ale. I can't fault it.

Great food and service for my mums birthday. The only downside was the noise from the bar as the FA cup was on. Once it has finished you could then hold a conversation.

This is a lovely place for a spot of lunch or dinner. We have been many times and the food has always been really really good, doesn't matter if they are busy or quiet the food has been great and the wait has never been that long either. The standard of cleanliness has always been good to with tables, menus and cutlery always very clean.As you can see by the photos you have a beautiful view of the river Arun and this view can be seen seated inside or outside, outside first come first served but inside its best to book maybe a few days ahead and request a window table.(photos taken from outside seating)Prices are very reasonable on food and drink compared to other local pubs, obviously more expensive than your local sizzler but the food and service definitely deserves the extra expense.Parking, they have a small car park, I'd say possibly about 20 spaces with good access for disabled people to.All in all its a must for a spot of lunch or just a drink down by the river.

What a great spot this is. Friendly helpful staff a good selection of beers and ales and superb food.Went on a Friday night and am pleased we reserved a table. Rammed packed full. Good time had by all.

Lovely food, good service, nice place. Bit pricey, but guess things are more now, worth it for the excellent food. Happy for dogs to go in and catered for a wheelchair as well.Would recommend.

Boy where to start, great service, fantastic food and super friendly staff. Recommend booking in advance, even though we rocked up on the off chance at lunchtime and were accomdated with no delay in the food. Can't recommend enough. But hang on, don't take our table.

Really nice view, Friendly staff and good atmosphere. No food mid day but bar snacks to accommodate. A handy place to wait for a train or a afternoon beer in the sun surrounded by pleasant people.

Doesn't look much from the outside but don't be fooled. Beautiful bright open plan dining area right on the water. Lovely staff and really really excellent food. Looking forward to being in the area again and can't recommend enough... Oh and £68 for a family of 4 to have 2 really nice courses and soft drink sounds perfectly fair too
