Lovely staff and setting for a quiet drink. We stopped off twice once for a drink then on the way back we stopped off for some beautiful food! Homemade, fresh and hot!

Really friendly pub with excellent food. I had liver and bacon and the liver was cooked to perfection. Well recommended.

Seemed to have changed hands since last visit 3 or so years ago. Anyway helpful, pleasant and good range of lunches whether you wanted snacks or full meal. Helpful & pleasant staff.

We really enjoyed our visits here this week. Tonight we had steak and guiness stew, and sausage and mash and it was all really tasty. The staff were friendly, helpful and attentive. Thank you, great job!

We've been here a few times now while walking the dog and have enjoyed every visit. We've only had drinks before but will definitely have a look at the menu next time. Lovely young chap served us at the table and dogs welcome. Great pub!

Great fresh food, the special liver n bacon with the trimmings was superb, washed down with beer. Cosy pub with a log fire, yes, those chiller days are nipping at your heels. Owner and staff could not do enough to ensure of a great experience. Thank you Tanya and the crew. Highly recommended.

As we were late visitors, they were closing but agreed to have us. It was definitely a pleasant visit. Cornish Orchard cider was sweet and refreshing. Yet, the Guinness my friend was served deserves an award- I never tried a better Guinness before 👍 thank you for having us!
