Great food, helpful and friendly staff

It's OK for a cheapish meal, menu is limited if vegan, out of 3 choices the vegan lasagne is still unavailable... Long wait for food for no apparent reason... Would be nice to be kept informed if there was a delay... They then lost us in the restaurant...... Nice friendly and helpful dark haired bar manager, who seems to be picking up the pieces of the other staff...

Never known a pub to refuse to add more cheese to cheesy chips in my life.. scarce amount of cheese as it is.. shouldn't be called cheesy chips.. simply just chips!!

Just been here for the first time to have a meal. We were dealt with by Chris, the Manager mainly & also the Chef. Both were professional, polite & friendly. We had a brief chat with Chris who is a really lovely, approachable man & made us feel very welcome.We had the Halloumi Fajita & Fish & Chips - both were excellent value for money, well cooked, generous portions & very tasty. The crumble & brownie were both delicious too.It was a friendly atmosphere as well. We noted the themed evenings too of Poker nights, Quiz nights etc, which is great to appeal to various clientele.Really happy with the meal & fantastic service from Chris - so, thank you & we will happily be returning soon!

Me and my wife had a lovely lunch time meal here for our 25th anniversary the staff was very welcoming warm and friendly would highly recommend.

Wasnt hopeful on arrival but greeted by a lovely friendly lady, seated to suit us. Ordered at the bar with adaptations to our meals to suit everyones needs. Food arrived in good time,well presented and plentiful. Qe all enjoyed. Great value for money too! Will vist again
