Footprints Cafe Bistro in Ashford

One of the friendliest places you can find. It's tucked away but worth the search. The food and drinks are excellent quality. Sandwiches are made to order so they are super fresh. Go, you will enjoy yourself. I am told Sunday roast is highly popular and you need to book. The locals all use the cafe, it feels like home.

Lovely little cafe with gorgeous outside seating and amazing food. Caters very well for vegans and vegetarians too. We had a lovely veggie English breakfast with tasty veggie sauages. Also had a vegan carrot cake which was delicious.

Enjoyed the Sunday Carvery today. Nut roast was delicious , food was hot and very generous vegetable portions. Too full for dessert, which is included in the price, so had a carrot cake takeaway. Went down very well with a cuppa later in the day. Service good and staff polite and friendly. Will definitely be paying another visit.

Staff very friendly and helpful. Food is fresh and cooked to order and you do not have to wait long. Surroundings are great for pets and children to explore.

Had a lovely lamb burger and wedges today. Definitely recommend.

Resturant is clean and nicely laid out. However menu lacks for vegan food, which going from the amount variety breakfast, lunch and Sunday menus... Its lacking. We purchased two hot drinks and two vegan cakes - on asking for plant milk we were told "we have soya or normal milk" which came across not in the best way. Normal milk we interpreted as "dairy".We would like to say that the vegan cakes were lovely, and encourage the management to expand on the menu for more vegan options.Many Thanks.

Having posted a review, some what a while ago I felt another review during these difficult times, would be good for those who may be hesitant about venturing out. Out walking with my sister and our dogs, we set out to visit Footprints again. We were in need of refreshments and seemed an ideal place after our walk.Plenty of seating outside, with or without umbrells. Menu on windows and as the norm, social distancing and mask wearing adhered to. Order at the counter then find your seat. Food brought our promptly and good as usual. Drinks come in paper cups, which we are now use to.The veranda was busy, and the tables safely distenced, making it a enjoyable sit down in the sun.So you can soak up the sun in a comfortable covid safe way.Thanks footprint, enjoyable visit again.

Young, vibrant, friendly staff. Causal atmosphere and extremely relaxing. Have visited several times over the years and is a hidden treasure. Pauline and I have eaten here once and the food and produce was very good. Stop in for coffee, hot chocolate or a soft drink. Some wonderful homemade cakes.
