Easy to get to, ample parking (maximum stay of three hours, need to register vehicle registration inside restaurant).A modern restaurant yet feels quite homely with a few nooks and crannies for seating. Reasonable prices with weekday daytime special deals.Food and presentation is good with polite and friendly service.Roasts available on Sundays, otherwise more of a 'American' feel menu.

Went there for our sons 12th birthday. Staff excellent and made our son feel very special. Food was excellent and well priced. Would recommend highly.

How this has gone down hill used to be quite a regular. NOT ANYMORE Booked a table in the week for a carvery for 1.15pm. Got there 1245 spoke to a rather gruff Scottish I think she was lady she just said have you booked to which I said yes, said they were fully booked which was a surprise as only stayed half full if that up to 1.45pm. Sat at out table till 1.45 then went to carvery. Only had one meat to offer Gammon. Told three different reasons why that was one they had sold out of Turkey, two the oven had broken down, three had a power cut. Get your story together which of these three is the truth. None I suspect. Asked why did they wait soo long before telling us and then we could have moved on the Scottish lady said our waitress should have told us why didn't she tell us seeing as though she knew so much about it from the start. The public are not stupid just be truthful, helpful and pleasant and MAYBE communicate. What a horrible experience. Dreadful place now

Absolutely dreadful. Booked in the week turned up on the Sunday greeted by a Scottish lady who was very abrupt. When ready to get the carvery told there was ONLY GAMMON really why let people sit for an hour then when they are ready to eat tell them. Three excuses given. Turkey had sold out, oven had broken, had a power cut and couldn't sell under cooked meat. Really how did you cook the Gannon then? Which of your three versions is TRUE. Dreadful experience used to be a regular NEVER NEVER again. Dear French Connection the public are not stupid. Tell the truth and LET THEM KNOW not wait until they go and get their food. AVOID

Bland overpriced food prepared with the minimum of effort - seemingly just reheated in a microwave or thrown in a deep fat fryer. No effort with presentation either. We've had better food at a motorway services. Dreadful.

Menu shown on the website (for this specific restaurant - not a generic one) was not the menu actually available in the restaurant. Three of us were vegan, one of whom has either medical dietary restrictions, and we had checked in advance there suitable meals. But when we arrived none were on the menu, let alone available. One of us ended up basically having a cheese (fake vegan cheese) sandwich as their meal - not a great lunch out.Alcohol free beer ordered but alcoholic beer served (and partially drunk before realising). The draught coke/pepsi was either too diluted or had some cleaning fluid or something - was really not great. Our table was at 2pm and the carvery only had gammon left by then - not exactly late I thought.I had the vegan burger and it wasn't very good. One of us ordered a burger without sauce but it came with sauce. By this point we were picking our battles so didn't object and just made do.The staff seemed a bit rude, but it was kind of borderline so perhaps they just weren't particularly chirpy. Or maybe they were annoyed because they thought we were just fitting the annoying vegan stereotype! All that said, my dessert was excellent - vegan black forest sundae. Not a huge fan of black forest gateau etc normally but this was delish.

Well surprised not been here in years after having some terrible meals here years ago,so pleased to say both me and hubby both thoroughly enjoyed a meal off daytime menu potato dipper starters and smothered BBQ chicken main all served cooked beautifully and piping hot (I hate Luke warm food!) 2 mains for £8.99 excellent value for a Monday meal why we renovating our kitchen with no appliances but have a feeling this maybe a regular visit now ! The staff was lovely too very cheery ! See you again soon 😊

More like " No Connection " . We arrived here a just after 5pm on Saturday the 30th October 21. Apart from a couple of guests in the restaurant the place was empty. So we asked for a table for 2, only to be told they had nothing to 8pm. No explanation was given. If TableTable can't be bothered with this restaurant why not sell it to a company that will put some effort it to the place.

Is it too much to ask when booking a table in restaurant to get a table and chair 🤔 I don’t think a sofa and a coffee table is what I was expecting. If they are so ‘busy’ I should have been given the option on booking. Didn’t help when I was told by the manager that infact was a proper table! What am I Noddy!

Great customer service from the lovely gent we had on Saturday morning. Wide selection of fresh tasty food. Kids loved the apple juice, pancakes and pastries while I had a lovely veggie breakfast. Will definitely be back. Thank you.
