Lam's Garden Chinese Takeaway in Ashford

Had a lovely takeaway from here this evening, hot and fresh lovely flavours and the duck spring rolls were amazing. Delivery time was great appreciate it's not a Friday or Saturday but was given a time and arrived well within it. Will definitely be ordering again thanks guys!

Love the food. Was seriously overcharged. Had friends over for food. Next day I was working out the cost. Nearly £10 I couldn't account for. Won't be using again.

Food always good, but website gives you a delivery time to state, now over an hour later than given, cannot get through on phone to chase, disappointed, not the first time. What is the point in having a delivery time on the website??? It appears the driver has gone missing 2 hours 45 mins after ordering! The customer service is totally appaulling! And they really are not bothered! Can redeliver in another hour, really, absolutely disgusting!

Just nipped in whilst that way, unplanned little takeaway . Sweet and sour king prawn balls were very very good. The reason I have given 3 stars is because you have to pay extra for the little carrier bag .. seems a bit mean..

This place spoilt our evening with tasteless food and their inability to cook vegetables dishes separately from meat pans. Unacceptable

Ordered last night for the family (5 people). Very communicative, polite customer service, was told 90mins for delivery (we understand that its busy) actually showed up in 30 mins ***WOW*** :) All dishes were absolutely brilliant, full of meat and flavor however the 4* only due to the special chow main, which was the least tasty out of all the Chinese we have ordered over the years (sorry - being honest, maybe matter of taste, or maybe some space for improvements). I will definitely order again and would highly recommend :)

Worst Chinese restaurant ever avoid at all cost , three times they forget to include items and then when you ask for a refund they ask for the sweet and sour sauce back that came with the chicken balls that they should of provided and we paid for gave them the sauce back which the driver decided to come back and leave on our doormat and ruining my door mat. .Also foreign object in the curry sauce which we cannot work out what it is so waiting for a bad stomach or sickness tomorrow and of to trading standards.

Truly awful Chinese! thought we'd try this for the first time as was recommended it by a few people I was told delivery would be within the hour and it took 1 hour 15 minsarrived cold and to top it off the food was actually vile! pork in black bean was flavourless and more like a gravy sauce that a black bean one! no spice at all either and the dish was 40% water chestnutschicken with chilli and salt was chewy tough and also Lacking in flavor! chips were ok and prawn crackers were stall!SAVE YOUR MONEY OR GO SOMEWHERE ELSE 🤢🤢

I have had a lovely meal every time but tonight it was awful I was so disappointed the chicken was tepid and the porkchow mein was cold and burnt the prawn crackers where so dry there was crack to them. The reason I have not dropped star rating is I hope this is just the one off.sorry guys you are normally the best Chinese around ashford.

Was recommended to use Lams by a friend who came round, food was fine and delivery time came within time (with 4 peoples worth of food) but experience was disappointed by rude delivery driver complaining to me about how difficult my road is to drive up? All this while he was holding a tray of food, so I assume he wanted to keep the tray and so I start taking the individual items out and the he rudely asks if he can put the tray down, I said of course I'm sorry and then he put it on the ground and just walked away ignoring me asking him whether wanted to keep the tray.I was in shock as any other food delivery has just dropped it at my door, rang the bell and then left with no issue. It felt like he hung around specifically to moan at me at something that wasn't my fault as I have no control over how narrow my road is (which actually you can easily reverse up and down it if you're a competent driver!)Like I said, fine food, no complaints with placing my order but things like this really can put you off. I'll be going back to my usual chinese from now on.
