New Flying Horse Inn Restaurant in Ashford

What a gem! Amazing reasonable food and lovely setting. Came here for a post walk lunch. The staff were so lovely. The vibe is great. Very comfy and friendly with roaring fire and Motown classics. Food was really impressive. Had a anchovies on toast to start and pie with mash for main. Mrs had the fish and chips. Considering coming back tomorrow!

A very warm welcome here, with delicious, fresh food and a comfy room. A peaceful setting in the Kent countryside with walks nearby and the coast a short drive away.

Had a very tasty meal here - a good variety to chose from & all a little different to the norm.Lovely cosy atmosphere, friendly helpful staff.Will be more than happy to go back - very soon - and as this place is dog friendly will be taking ours!

This hotel is amazing. We stayed last night. A family of 4 and our dog. The room was beautiful, the staff were friendly and attentive and our dog was treated like royalty 🤣. We will definitely be going back and I couldn't recommend this hotel highly enough.

What a fantastic, welcoming pub. Had an amazing Sunday roast dinner today with desserts too. The cheese in particular was a real wow. Really efficient staff and a warm service. Can only imagine how nice the gardens would be in the summer. Guess we will have to come back to see 🤔🙄

Second visit, the meal was still very enjoyable with funky ideas in a good way however the chicken main could have done with a little more sauce and the toffee sponge was a little dense. This was the same for the fruit spice & chocolate slice but this is being hyper critical. The service was very good but disappointed that we had booked a specific table by phone and then placed elsewhere. Great staff and look forward to visiting again.

The rooms were amazing , more like a five star hotel than a pub - the owners have thought of every little detail a guest may need . The food was delicious and the staff were friendly and incredibly attentive- Gary and Nathan , the Managers went out of their way to make us feel very much at home . It’s our second visit , would always come back again and again .

The room is lovely and comfortable, the pub atmosphere great and the food absolutely delicious at dinner and breakfast. Above all, the staff were incredibly welcoming to us and our dog. We highly recommend it and look forward to stay again.

Absolutely love it here. So friendly and welcoming. Great food... Not your usual pub grub menu. Good variety of local produce. Very dog friendly, our labrador was even treated to a special breakfast (didn't touch the sides 😂) The accommodation is good, very comfortable. This is our second stay... We'll be staying again.

This is a lovely, traditional pub, with a bit of an original twist. The staff are wonderful - so friendly and professional. The food is amazing and delicious, and a special mention for their fantastic vegetarian and vegan options . As a vegetarian, you definitely do not feel like your menu has been an afterthought. We stayed one night in one of the beautiful rooms above the pub - warm, cosy and exactly what you would expect. The village of Wye is a fantastic destination too . .it’s a beautiful village with some lovely walks around it.
