Peggotty's Tea Shoppe in Ashford

A little gem ! Peaceful garden and sat watching a parent Robin feeding a fledged youngsters, while enjoying coffee and beautiful cake . What more could you want?

Found this tea room by accident whilst on a diversion. I've given it five stars because it is very clean, the staff were friendly and the food was excellent, at a moderate price. I would go again any time I was passing through Tenterton.

Lovely tea room in Tenterden just like they used to b with decent tea and very delicious cake. Friendly service and will definitely visit again.

Such a quaint little traditional tea room and we were allowed to bring our pooch in too. I had salted caramel and chocolate cake, delicious 😋

We were so happy we booked this lovely tea shoppe for our afternoon tea. We were welcomed on arrival and shown to our table in a beautiful garden, with plenty of shady areas if you wish. The staff were friendly and efficient and brought us some lovely sandwiches and delicious scones and cake. With the lovely weather it was perfect and will definitely return.

It's an ok tea room. Plenty of staff when we were there, service was friendly. We had the Welsh rarebit which was ok, more like cheese on toast, definitely had better elsewhere. Cream tea was ok, I forgot to ask then not to heat up the scone, I really don't like microwaved scones, the jam has seeds in and the portion of cream was tiny. Tea was nice enough. Not the best place I've been to but nice enough.

Lovely afternoon tea - big portions for two. Cakes was good and scones amazing. Very friendly and welcoming staff!
